Why would we release him? He has a couple of issue but woulda helped huge in the long run.
Expensive. Will start next season suspended too if im not mistaking. If we coulda reworked him down to like 7 mil maybe.

@Mike Martin i mean im sure they looked into it but honestly I doubt anyone is trading for a 13mil 30yr old cb coming off an off year where he was plagued with injuries and suspended and wont play the full year.

Take the money and give it to Simmons
Bouye and Casey moves were great 1 yr plays. We had the cap space. No matter how it all played out. Hopefully wr can renegotiate Casey. But surely shelby and Simmons are priority and I hope we can reconfigure vons contract. Speaking of Patrick Peterson … I actually wanted him over von miller vakc in the days so to have em both on the broncos for a yr or two would be a dream come true. Even if at older ages. Draft im still hoping for micah parsons (ILB) but im good with farley (CB).

Where we picking next year maybe around 15 and what we’d be giving up to move up next year to draft a top QB, also I listen to DNVR and zac is a freakin liar you were saying on a recent pod that we should grab Watson no matter what, just saying don’t be fooled by how these guys twist their words to feed a narrative just listen to recent DNVR pods

Why is everyone so intent on jettisoning Casey? I want to see him play in our system. I’m much more interested in having Casey play for us vs Harris. As much as I love Shelby, Casey is a much better player than Harris.

We need a QB hopefully we see news about that during the off-season( cough cough WATSON). If the Broncos let lock ruin our franchise further we’ll be back to under mediocre for another 3 years at least.

Now im questioning if Lindsay is coming back, I would much rather have him over Gordon, so unless Lindsay takes a massive pay cut or Gordon gets traded Lindsay is pretty much gone.
I can’t see Lindsay walking but I also don’t see him settling for anything less than a big payday
@Marquise Walston The only way we get all these guys is by releasing Von, but Von is still arguably the best outside linebacker in the league so unless we deal him in a Watson trade Simmons, Shelby and Lindsay wont all be able to come back

I love that Patton is being responsible and not going for the splash because there’s water over there. Just feels like he’s gonna build this monster of a team by doing things the right way and not taking shortcuts.
