The Packers have too many big holes to fill to possibly fill with the draft. And in my opinion the draft is terribly overrated in the first place. It’s very rare that you get a rookie who immediately fills a starting spot and plays like a veteran. It does happen, but only one out of about a thousand. A team that starts a bunch of rookies goes nowhere. I hope that Clay Matthews will sign a realistic contract for the Packers, that would solve the inside linebacker spot better than any rookie will do. The defensive line is a disaster and the offensive line is a major worry. Aaron is getting too old to get pounded because the line can’t protect him, and right this minute I’d say thats a major worry. The defensive line, major problem . I don’t see a rookie coming in and making a major difference but you never know. It has happened before, I sure hope it can again.
