There seems to be a lot of strange love for the idea of Dak. The guy has been playing behind a tremendous line, in warm weather, indoors. And he wasn’t great even with all of that. These things might not exactly translate with a move to Denver.
I would love to have Dak. We can easily trim some fat. Give Von the demarcus ware contract! Bring in young dbs via draft. And sign Justin!!!!! Look what Dak did for Dallas, he could do som much more here. Top 5 defense when they aren’t stuck on the field all the time. And Dak running the offense. That sounds like immediate contention.

I’m really rooting for Lock’s success, but if he can’t prove himself this next season, that’s a wrap. Last year’s draft was all for helping Lock. He has no excuses this next year

People watch these YT channels, making the mistake that these are actual journalists speaking to them. No. They’re fans who were able to get press credentials by virtue of writing a few columns and having podcasts. Press credentials aren’t that hard to get for most of this stuff. If they’re not in the room asking questions, post game, take what they say with a grain of salt.

I see quite a few of my fellow Bronco fans fretting over Drew Lock’s performance in his first 16 games. Well, I was here to watch Elway struggle through his rookie season, and as I’ve said all along, Drew will be a superstar.
Anyone remember an Elway that was so lost he lined up under guard instead of center? Anyone remember Elway sucking so badly he got benched for a few games in favor of Steve DeBerg? How about only throwing 7 TDs to 14 INTs? Remember a completion % of under 48%, and a QB rating under 55? I do.
I also saw Lock record the highest road QB rating in Bronco history this year, and watched him engineer one of the all-time comebacks against the Chargers. He did this and more with a new OC, and no offseason. Lock has a lot to clean up, but compared to Elway’s first 16 games, Lock was a god.
Relax, Bronco brethren. This kid is the real deal, and he’s only going to get better and better. Sit back, watch what happens, and prepare to eat a ton of crow.

I dont get the idea of bringing in Foles, Dalton, etc. Theres no point. We’ve been doing that for the last 5 years with Sanchez, Keenum, Flacco. Go all in with your 1st round picks. It seems to work for the Rams just fine
But in this scenario they’d be bringing a guy in to be the backup and paying him considerably less – not bringing him in as the starter or a bridge starter until the next good young guy comes along.
There was talk of Dak Prescott leaving Dallas on another channel. But the media is reporting that Prescott and Dallas are working to get a deal done and are in talks, and if not they will place the Franchise Tag on him again.
The only quarterback that is officially being shopped is supposedly Derek Carr because Las Vegas wants the capital to go after Deshaun Watson.

Yeah, but remember that the line he’s played behind is considerably better than what he’d get in Denver. It’s not horrible, but not what Dallas routinely lines up either. Plus he’ll have to play outdoors more often, in the cold more often, etc.
Yes, a “Pro Bowler” like Lindsay is really going to be viewed as an asset by a prospective quarterback. All-Pro means something. Pro Bowlers are a dime a dozen.
