What Terry Fontenot, Arthur Smith can do on first days of NFL Draft | Falcons Final Whistle Podcast

Kris, Tori and Scott discuss how the Falcons can use five selections in the top 82 overall to improve their roster, by trading up or down in the draft or simply five possible impact players. We take it a step further and break down which positions should be prioritized, and whether the Falcons should target a quarterback to challenge Marcus Mariota and possibly succeed Matt Ryan as franchise quarterback.

If the Falcons trade up I will be patient and wait for the next GM and head coach to be hired. If the Falcons trade for a quarterback I will wait patiently for the next GM and head coach to be hired. The draft capital they would have to give up with both DL and OL in dismal shape isn’t worth a trade. My hope is a trade down far enough to acquire an extra first-round for next year’s draft. With all that aside as long as the picks improve the team it doesn’t matter to me considering they never pick the way I think they should.

Any player u take in the draft is a risk
No player is a sure thing

If the Falcons taught us ANYTHING over the last 4 or 5 years it should be…. what’s on paper is TOTALLY different than the product on the field. THEY said we was good on paper but turned out to be hot garbage. Now yall saying on “PAPER” we are trash. How about we judge the product on the field. #riseup #dirtybird … calm down and send goid energy to our Falcons

It starts and ends in the trenches
I like the schemes

THE DRAMA IS KILLING ME
who we are drafting
Game changer on offense
Game wrecker on defense
GET A FINISHER ON EACH SIDE OF THE BALL
The more inserting draft in falcons history
8TH PICK COULD BE a game changer

Just want to remind everyone in 2015 coach Quinn went 8-8 his 1st year as a head coach.

Then in 2016 .. 5 rookies including 3rd round Hooper, 5th round Campbell, and undrafted Brian Poole started all the way to the super bowl.

We have 5 picks in the 1st 3 rounds alone this year.. 9 total.
