Im seeing Devin Lloyd from Utah be the pick…

    Dontno Nowuno

@Jake Kincaid-Reyes yet all 5 linebackers suck,so yes this is an option if Jamison or Cross are gone. They let the only consistent lb walk in off-season so stop acting like it’s a bad idea.”Staley’s scheme doesn’t value linebackers”..maybe that the problem.

    Jake Kincaid-Reyes

@Dontno Nowuno it is a bad idea because there will be plenty of other ppl they would take over Lloyd, also Tranquil and Murray are not absolutely terrible, the depth behind them is questionable but I would put money they don’t draft LB. So yes it is a terrible idea to draft a LB with 5 others on the roster, what? They’re not just gonna roll in with 6 LBs into the season or cut 3 of them. I believe they’d take Penning before Lloyd and I honestly don’t like Penning. Plus Staley will have plenty of DBs and a decent enough Dline to cover up and the lack of talent in the LB core. I honestly believe that with the Dline improvement, it will help Murray and Tranquil a lot. So it won’t be as much of a weakness as ppl make it out to be

    Dontno Nowuno

@Jake Kincaid-Reyes yeah I agree with the thought of a better dline helping the linebackers, but I’m going to be real surprised if they take the 4th or 5 th best tackle over dominant run stopping LB . If Staley doesnt “value” Lb, that would make even more sense to get a stud on the cheap.Look, Tranquil hasn’t done anything and has been terrible in the run game, and though I think Murray will be fine, having another thumper would be great. Tranquil should only be in on obvious passing downs and special teams.Coachrs and fans are WAY to high on that guy.

    Jake Kincaid-Reyes

@Dontno Nowuno I think they can think about getting a LB, but with 17? I think that’s too rich, remember TT drafts players that Staley wants, so if he doesn’t value a certain position he won’t draft them unless he says otherwise. Maybe they get a LB later on with the comp picks or day 2, but def not the first 3 picks we have. Remember White was a safety, chargers always draft these hybrid DB who can play in the box, I wouldn’t be surprised if they do that honestly. It would make more sense for Staleys scheme

    Steven Degree

I can tell you a very intelligent individual

MILLAMAZING

What about DT

MILLAMAZING

That’s what we need they ran all over us last year

Paul Jones

guys we gotta be able to stop the run how many games last season did we lose because our defense couldn’t get it done .Justin Herbert and our offense got it done. key word defense.

    Jake Kincaid-Reyes

Yea but we upgraded the defensive line, not to say they won’t draft more potentially but idk if it will be in the 1st. Who knows if Davis will be there and Wyatt might be a slight reach at 17. The defenses in the AFC west also got better so why not give Herb another weapon to have this offense take an even bigger step. I’m sorry but Guyton and Palmer and back ups ain’t scaring nobody. If Allen or Williams go down our offense takes a huge hit

Gautham Ananthanarayanan

Let’s draft Jordan Davis if we want to win the super bowl

    Gautham Ananthanarayanan

@Manofmayhem that sounds like a good idea.

bLoWc16

Receivers! If they don’t drop the ball as much as they did last year, we could have won 1-2 more games.

    Austin Savage

100% also need a wr capable of YAC, Allen is amazing at catching , but falls or goes out of bounds, mike will jumps to catch mostly and falls down, yes new TE shows signs of being able to get YAC , but jameson Williams is a must , no true future #1 wr, allen could get hurt, mike is always banged up, palmer is great , but hes a great #2 at best

    Steven Degree

Honestly, Herbert is so good he doesn’t need any more weapons. Draft defense so the offense doesn’t need to score 35+ to win a game.

    Brennen Tuigamala

Facts bro! Not only that if our WRs would’ve caught 50% of the passes we dropped, JHerb would’ve led the league in passing yards as well

    adam goessl

@Steven Degree The Packers have used that mentality, and look at how many super bowls that plan won.

    Dontno Nowuno

    @adam goessl 💯

Jordan Davis on the Chargers Bolt Up Man ⚡⚡⚡

Nathan Harrison

Calvin Austin in the 3rd.

Nuts N Bolts (Los Angeles Chargers)

People keep saying 1st RD picks you get the 5th year options. However, seems like a lot of players don’t care about honoring contracts, neither do organizations, I get it. When certain players feel like they’ve out performed the contract they want money sooner or to be traded. WR seems like a position trending in the player empowerment movement.

    Dontno Nowuno

It’s cyclical imo.Wr and edge guys(QBs are a given inflation) are this decades skyrocketing contracts, but it wasn’t that long ago Rb’s and middle linebackers we’re the high paid stars of the NFL. Only problem I have is when players ala Deebo are hurt and miss alot of games, then have only one big year and want top five money with a signed contract.Team doesn’t get their money back when players miss games,if they did ,I would be more on Deebo ‘s side to get his 💰

    Dog On It

Not an empowerment movement … a prima donna movement throughout recent NFL history i.e. Terrell Owens, Chad Ochocinco, Randy Moss, Michael Irvin

Nuts N Bolts (Los Angeles Chargers)

@Dontno Nowuno Sure, evolution changes emphasis on position, but today’s athletes appear more connected to the business side. The risk of injury a year out from being paid is what has players commanding money now. I hope they all get paid but if I’m drafting for the Chargers, and I feel we’re deep at that position, I’m factoring this trend into my decision.

Nuts N Bolts (Los Angeles Chargers)

@Dog On It Maybe the money side wasn’t publicized enough but the players you mentioned were more “divas”. Like Keyshawn Johnson, Throw Me The Damn Ball. Now it’s Throw Me The Damn Bag.

Steven Draper

In the 2021 Season.. If the “Chargers” Defense.. Would Have “Stopped” jus One Touch Down.. In Just “Half” of Their Games.. They Would Have Made the Playoffs and Maybe Won the Super Bowl!!! It came down to.. DEFENSE.. DEFENSE.. DEFENSE!!! They Had a Lacking Defense.. That Needed.. Shoring.. It’s Done Now!!! Time for a Fast Target.. For Justin’s ARM…

Dontno Nowuno

If Jamison is there..no brainer.if Cross slides get him .Dont settle for 4 or 5 th best offensive tackle.Rather get a number one guard,lb,or top corner if it comes to that

al3x.619

Need to draft a corner in the 1st

Steven Degree

Devin Lloyd. Haven’t heard anyone mention Kyzir White leaving, Tranquill being injury prone and Murray who knows if we can trust him. I like Nick Nieman on specials but not sure if he is an everydown LB. If Lloyd is off the board at 17 consider drafting Troy Andersen. Would be a bit of a reach but he looks like the next Urlacher. Would be pumped with Andrew Booth Jr or Kaiir Elam too.

    adam goessl

Troy Reader is the starter. There isn’t need to pick a player at 17 who may not even be a starter.

    Dontno Nowuno

@adam goessl why is Troy the appointed starter? One year with Staley?I think he is good insurance if Murray doesn’t pan out.

    adam goessl

@Dontno Nowuno Staley’s scheme isn’t overly reliant on exceptional ILB play. I doubt the Chargers paid Reader to be a backup in this scheme. If it were Lovie Smith’s defense, I would agree in needing someone more than Reader.

    Original One

Other teams won’t care if Staley isn’t LB crazy ,
Other team’s will exploit that weakness regardless and will be left scratching head wondering why we don’t upgrade the LB position.
If Not Lloyd hopefully at least draft another LB like Jojo Domann or M.Rose or Anderson

    adam goessl

@Original One The point is that his scheme means there isn’t an exploitable weakness. In Staley’s scheme, ILBs aren’t task with as much responsibility. The main way in which a team exploits weak LB play is through play action. The point of the Staley scheme is to not have LBs aggressively play the run. This is why Murray didn’t succeed last season. He’s a great run stopper, but that’s not asked by Staley. Staley uses safety play as a substitute for LB usage in other schemes. The player needs to merely remain in coverage. Reader is capable of this.

Shoot It Up !

IDL or LB in the 1st round. Then idk say receiver in the 3rd. Preferably Bo Melton. We need after catch ability and speed.

James Bauer

Yeah its getting ridiculous though that’s the point of a first round pick you get 4 years plus a 5th year option now players are so money hungry they want a extension in year 3

James Bauer

It pisses me off these players make so much damn money but it’s not enough when one player gets special treatment they all want it we got wrs making more than corners and edge players stupid teams like the browns and jags m as keep it worse they cant get mo one to play for them so they always way overpay players which constantly resets the market the dumb browns guaranteeing 230 some million dollars now all players are gonna start wanting all garraunteed money how the heck can you build a team when 4 or 5 players want the entire salary cap of the team

Fernando Llamas

Keep showing Olave, keep showing him. I want a passionate Chargers fan at receiver, maybe he can elevate to replace Keenan in five years

    Dontno Nowuno

Jamison or Olave if they were both there at 17?

    Ghostface

@Dontno Nowuno olave I feel is better overall but Williams I feel is better at deep threat and speed

Original One

We can’t ignore the Right Side of the
O Line.
Target
OT first then either
RB or OG or LB either within first 4 picks .
Trade back get A.Lucas…..
then maybe best OL Salyer or best RB Spiller or best LB. Jojo Domann,Asamoah…..or LB. M.Rose later rounds…
and then OG Ingram or Hayes in the 3rd or 4th rd
WR Thornton or Bo Melton …
Then DT depth Ferrell or Garret or Ogbonia or N.Ellis …
DBs & OL depth

Scorpion Sting

Better O-line is key now. Build depth there to give Herbert and receivers more time. A top quality tight-end too.

John Rowley

I appreciate your videos. So much information to absorb. This is the most crazy year I’ve ever seen since the late 1970’s.
