Browns ended the streak, but 7 games is the most since 1998. Carolina and Pittsburgh put up second half TDs in garbage time because those games were over and it didn’t matter. Lou did let up a bit too much against the Steelers, though. An inside kick is very, very unlikely to work out, but there was no reason to pull the defense that much with that much time left in the game to even allow that small chance. I don’t think he’ll be that arrogant in this game, though. Besides the Browns game where the whole team collapsed, no team has scored a second half TD while the defense was actually playing.
I’m most excited for the special teams performance. Both of these teams have great kickers. Harrison Butker has been on absolute 🔥🔥🔥 this season.

How do you bring up new things but not bring up the improvements on the chiefs D. New corners, new safety, new d-line. These are what i imagine 2 different teams (chiefs fan so I don’t know what bengals did besides “fix?” their o-line.” but can definitely say this is a brand-new chiefs team.

Just so everyone knows, last time Joe B or the Bengals were slighted in the smallest way by another team was against the Ravens when their former DC did’t want to put Burrow and Chase as elite yet. Well, Burrow went out and threw for 545 yard and 4 td’s and chase had 125 and a td. food for thought

The reason the Bengals beat the Chiefs the last 2 times was abandoning stooping the run because KC could do that anyway. They rushed 3 and dropped 8. They can’t do that this time with Pacheco back there.
It’s like a strange vortex around the Chiefs every time they play Bengals. Patrick goes into limp mode the entire second half. He looks like a completely different QB. Jamar Chase turns into Randy Moss. And Chiefs never get pressure even though Bengals have a weak online. Strange things happen especially with how poorly Mahomes plays for half the game.
