What are the keys to early-season success for Denver’s offense? | Broncos Country Tonight – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE

I don’t like the small leaks of the schedule

~Baffled By Bullshit~

Wilson needs to bring back the old uniforms. These new ones are lame.

    Ramone DeCurta

I hate their uni. The helmet isn’t bad, but the big-D was cool too. They need less orange, a smaller color strip on the neckline, no big patches of color.

~Baffled By Bullshit~

And do we really want our stadium to be named Walmart at a mile high?

    ~Baffled By Bullshit~

@Fernando ! Stop with the money crap. No Walmart sign hanging on our stadium. Be the laugh of the country. But as usual they will interview plenty of people on the street saying what a good thing it is.

    ~Baffled By Bullshit~

@Fernando ! In addition. Is any super rich owner going to gift you any tickets? Are they going to lower the prices? Guarantee no, going up because of wilson, and go up regardless of any owner. People are stupid to keep paying so much for all this crap.

    Ramone DeCurta

@Fernando ! : That money is not needed. There’s a principle you should follow: “Not all money is ‘good’ money.”

It’s bad enough that some of the existing owners are greedy, racist pigs; now you want to add the richest American greedy racist pig into the mix?

If they let the Waltons buy a team it will be like letting Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell or Rich DeSantis buy a team. The majority of players won’t want to play, and no fans of color will support it either.

A lot of sponsors will pull away from the NFL…even those whose products are sold in Wal-Mart!

If they let that snake through the door, the NFL will become the “Not For Long” league. It will be a dead league within a decade, I will bet a large amount of money on that.

    Ramone DeCurta

@Fernando ! : The Waltons exploit global labor via sweatshops, pay poverty level wages and benefits, and support privatization of agencies that are historically public, including schools.

They want to e pans the voucher and charter systems into complete dominance, which is not a good thing. Charter schools are good but public schools are also necessary.

They’ve given hundreds of millions of dollars to organizations that exploit marine life and lobby for deregulation of everything from banking to environmental controls.

They’re just all-around bad for the world, and they don’t belong in the NFL.

The NFL wants the money, but the league can’t absorb the massive hit it would take by letting Rob Walton make the purchase.

The better move is for the Broncos to allow Oprah’s or Magic’s groups to make the purchase. They have crossover appeal and are proven success stories.

If Michael Jordan joins one of the groups that should make them a winner. The NFL wouldn’t be able to reject that.

Bold prediction: WR1 1200, WR2 1000 and WR3 800. TE1 600 TE2 400. RB1 300 RB2 200 yards. 4500 yard season for RW.

    Temper

Seems a bit conservative Russ is having 5k yards this year

    Josh Barber

@Temper yes he certainly will I mean look at all the weapons he has at Wide Receiver and Tight End its crazy to not believe he won’t have 5’000 yards or more our offense is going to be unstoppable once they start gelling together

Rob Huntley

What are the keys? Score a lot of points!

    S.A.M. B.B.M.

And prevent a lot of points as well!

1burnman

it’s Going to be exciting for Denver this year

    Clinton Reisig

    Yes, sir! 🧡🧡🧡

Q: 🤔What are the keys to early season success for the Broncos?

A: Key #3! 😆

Ramone DeCurta

Russ doesn’t “‘like’ to hold the ball.” No QB does! He held it because his receivers weren’t getting open in Pete Carroll’s stale offense.

He also didn’t get a lot of passing opportunities, which forced him to take more long shots. Pete actually WANTED it that way.

Russ is fully capable of unloading the ball quickly and using all parts of the field — and he can burn defenses from any angle.

If Michael Jordan was only allowed to shoot 15 times a game, he would have shot more 3’s because that’s what a scorer does.

Give Russ his 35-37 A/G and he will take more check-downs and throw the ball away more often.

That will also help the deep-ball because it will collapse the secondary into more shallow coverage, which Pete Carroll didn’t seem to understand. He likes the secondary deep because it left his backs more open at the third level.

I understand that philosophy, but it also meant posting schemes that were more easily frustrated by opposing teams and placing more pressure in Russ to be laser accurate on his deep-balls.

Every third deep-ball Russ ever threw in Seattle was the equivalent of a last-second three-pointer, and he nailed two out of every three of those suckers!

That’s one reason I always say that Russ is the best QB in the NFL. No one has had to play under that kind of pressure 3 of every 4 games of his career.

If you incentivize Russ to take more check downs and give him an offense that provides those opportunities, he will do it.

That will collapse the secondary and open up the deep ball. And nobody sticks the deep-ball down a defense’s throat better than Russ does.

The Seahawks’ failures were Pete Carroll’s fault.

I totally disagree that Anderson is the favorite; RT hasn’t been a solid for the team for several seasons. If Anderson was the favorite, he would have the money and the contract! I agree on Compton, he has horrid PFF passing scores, but he’s much better at the run. So he clearly cannot take on Mack, Jones, Bosa or Crosby!

I’m concerned with Glasgow’s health and I just don’t see his value, so I’m gonna watch some film. I’ve seen Cush get blown up, so we’ll see how competition goes. I’d rather see Wettenburg at RT, but he’s nice in the interior line! I hate we didn’t draft a RT or MLB! But like everyone else, I trust the heck outta Paton!

Flaming Beaver

Well Jerry Jeudy got arrested today greeeaaaattt 🙃

    Ramone DeCurta

He doesn’t seem to be in the mental space to succeed with Russ or anyone else as his QB, and he’s the last guy Russ needs as a teammate. If they keep this up Russ will play out his contract and leave. He has the balls to do that.

I wanted him with the Raiders, Colts, Bucs, or 49ers anyway. The Broncos seem like a great organization, but I think Russ may have been a little hasty in choosing them. He didn’t need Jeudy’s sh*t with everything else he’s confronting.

I think he should play out his contract and walk. If he balls out he will still get top dollar with his third team. It’s always risky but he can do it.

The key to early season success for Denver’s offense is for them not to play against any of their AFC West rivals. lol Enjoy the cellar DONKEYS !

Aaron N

I wouldn’t freak out if we started 3-5 but the early schedule for the Broncos is easier almost as if the NFL wants the team to start good so people tune in.
