Rankings this early are just nonsense, im a Browns fan but how are we at 17? Thats way too high, we got bullied by the Ravens week one and okay we had a good showing against the Bengals but…its the Bengals…
Steelers at #4 after narrowly beating the Giants and Broncos?
So many head scratching rankings.
OffensiveFarmer those games weren’t too narrow, they had something crazy like 6 first downs given up off of penalties. If you watched that game it should have been like 35-14 but penalties screwed the Steelers
As a browns fan it’s because baker actually did good for once and obj didn’t drop easy passes. Our defense also was better than week 1
@Lalit Metta No it wasn’t our defence was just as crappy, our coverage was awful against the Bengals which is what lead to them converting so many 3rd and 4th downs not to mention the amount of points they scored on us.
Baker did well thanks to Stefanski calling plays which we have actually been practicing instead of that shitshow that happened in week 1 but even if we were playing play action run heavy against the Ravens like we did the Bengals we would have still lost due to our awful defence, until the Browns sort coverage out we should not be a top 20 team, not even close.

As a Ravens fan, I agree. Probably most dangerous backfield in the AFC. But yall got a history so I’m sure that is taken into consideration.

Cardinals at #13 is dumb. They should be in the top 10 since last week.
It’s almost like they forget that these power ranking are supposed to be based on a weekly basis. This is how I feel about the Raiders. It’s like their thought process was “Hmm, Raiders just beat a Super Bowl caliber team, but they were a pretty bad team in 2018, so let’s put them at 15.”

Not Real name losing Buckner looks to have really down graded that d-line which was the key to their defense, they were healthy against the Cardinals and even when two of the Cardinals linemen got hurt they got dominated. And their offense looked horrible against the Cardinals, niners running game was pretty revolutionary last year, but with a full year of film it’s not gonna be as dominate and Jimmy G doesn’t look like he can carry the team. Even healthy they were likely in for a big regression.
