This man makes me so thankful to be a KansasCitian and a Chiefs fan! He makes me wanna listen around the rest of the league, cause I always find myself wondering if any other teams have an announcer as dedicated and as wonderful to listen to as the Voice, our man Mitch! He just seems so much more enthusiastic than anyone else, so excited, so fun to listen to! We are indeed SO BLESSED here in KC!!!!! None of this will ever be lost on me. I’m fully aware of how fortunate we are to have the Franchise we do!!

I watched Suber Bowl 54 with my Father-in-law who has been a Chiefs fan since 1972; back when he was 10. I sat there with him as the the Chiefs trailed by 10 and Mahomes threw his 2nd pick…it really seemed bleak.
Then WASP was called and the ball kept rolling from there. We had 9 people over and everyone was jumping up and down and screaming in celebration as Damien Williams ran in another TD to ice the game. Everyone was elated, including my Father-in-law but he wasn’t jumping up or down. He was quietly crying in his chair; tears of joy.

I was born in 89 and have grown up with Mitch as the voice of the Chiefs. Iconic. Will be very sad when he hangs it up.

While there is much to love about Mitch Holtus. My favorite is, his passion on the broadcast, and around the organization. He does what most of us would do if we were given the keys to the kingdom. He is always yelling during games, he is always having fun interactions with the players, he gives himself to this whole organization, and I love it.

Wish I could hear your voice on all the Chiefs broadcast games! Thanks for everything you do for us fans!

Mitch has been a part of my life ever since I was a little kid. I have so many memories of listening to 101 the fox to hear Mitch’s play by play because I either busy doing something and wasn’t around a TV or I would mute my TV and listen to Mitch call the game. Thank you Mitch you’re the best play by play caller in the game. Go Chiefs🏉

I’ve been listening to Mitch since day 1, I’ve been a fan 40+ years, when I hear him roar “TOUCHDOWN Kaaaaan Zuhhhhh City” I get goosebumps!

I’ll never forget Knile Davis returning that opening kickoff back for a TD. That was a seminal moment in the franchises history. We would never be losers from then on.
