Absolutely. McGary is a scrub and he better get his 5th year option declined. But for Mayfield, I’d give him some patience since he’s a rookie.
@Chef Alex17 Just think…they moved back into the first round to draft the dude too. Talk about a wasted pick. Still believe somebody did that to help a nice guy from a poor family. Shoulda been a third rd pick at best.
Some of that is Matt not being decisive. He hesitates even when receivers are wide open. Because he delays, the defenders close the gap by the time the ball gets there. The line can improve but Matt can throw the ball sooner.
He gave up in the very first quarter against Dallas. Please man smh
I wouldn’t be smiling and happy knowing we are last in the division, they always tell the fans what they want to hear then get on the field and loose I wouldn’t be surprised if they loose to the jags either, as a fan I must say we deserve better.

Seven games to go and how many can you win with this roster please. I got a wait and see attitude.
Ryan is a good passer…though, he can’t scramble like Herbert (Chargers) so…when the O Line fails…he just falls to the ground for a sack. We need to move on from Ryan and get a dang good new QB in the draft next year. I will be surprised if we finish above .500 this year. I also want to mention that we need to draft some new O Line players too.
Poor scrambler. He’s slow of foot and a hesitant passer. If you’re not quick and athletic, you should get rid of the ball fast. He holds it even when guys are open, then throws a touch late or throws behind the receiver.
Matt Ryan has one of the highest completion percentages in the nfl when he is outside of the pocket actually. With that being said, it does go to show that the o line is only okay at its best. But Matt Ryan is mobile when he has to be. I’m not saying he is kyler Murray or Lamar Jackson in that aspect, but he can move. Watch the games and you’ll see
Actually Matt CAN scramble and evade sacks…much of the time. But he panics and just goes down. Bugs me that he doesn’t try. Even athletic mobile QBs have to scramble because protection breaks down and rushers are fast and disruptive. So folks should stop always griping about the line. It’s about what the QB is capable of or not when the O-line can’t detain the rush. Cuz egde rushers are coming.

This guy holds the ball too long. Hesitates, curls up and falls before he gets hit. Instead of throwing the ball away he’ll take a sack and lose yards instead of throwing an incompletion. My guess is he doesn’t want to hurt his stats. 3rd and long he’ll throw it to a check off guy instead of throwing it down the field. It seems he’s more concerned with his completion percentage than taking a chance throwing an incompletion or interception. He has no intangibles I can think of. He even said my job isn’t to block but just to deliver the football. In other words if there is a block he can make to help his team win he won’t do it because it’s not his job to hit people. That tells me he doesn’t play to win.
