God I wish he had a better season… I would love this kid to stay. He has EVERYTHING to be a franchise guy, but the Jets ruined his development. It sucks because he’s a good person. If he was a bad person it would be A LOT EASIER to move on… I hope he can turn it around…
I’m hoping Sam can get better but at this point in time it’s in our best interest to move on. The people begging for DeVonta Smith don’t realize that this is another deep receiving class with options such as Terrace Marshall, Chris Olave, and Seth Williams. Drafting Justin Fields, a QB who fits the mold of what has been successful in the league at this point in time, athletic QB’s who can throw, it would be perfect for the Jets to kickstart their rebuild.

for the longest time i said draft sewell, until the devonta game. NOW i think they should grab devonta at #2 and at 23 you’ll still get a damn good OL
personally, i would spend this whole draft building up the offense. right now for the jets, there’s no way to improve both sides of the ball at the same time to make them competitive. they might as well go offense first (FINALLY to help darnold) and then go defense next year
I would take Penei at 2. Or the slim reaper, he’s just a game changer that would help Sam, the Lawrence dream is gone and im not sold on Fields.
