First off. You are right about wide 9 players but what good is commenting it on every video for weeks going to do?
As for blame, it’s not really on any one individual. First off, it’s the first year with a new scheme. Team already had holes at every single position(except maybe Dline). Joe D only had so many draft picks and so much money to spend(this IS a capped league). He is also only able to bring is players who were available and WANTED to play here as well as factoring scheme and culture fit.
I personally believe that Joe D has done just about as good of a job as you can ask. It’s going to take time! Maybe 2 more off seasons before this team is fully assembled and ready to complete.
We all want to win but patience is required for sustainable success.
The Johnson’s are indeed terrible owners but have nothing to do with roster choices so I fail to see the relevance in blaming them for the lack of scheme fit players.
