Wasn’t that was the game we ended up losing, and missing the playoffs, and got Jack Pardee fired. Riggins quit football.
On the plus side it did bring us Joe Gibbs.
@Neal M Yep, I remember watching that game live. It STILL sticks in my craw to this day. The last play of the game was a completion and Joe T and EVERYONE was signaling for a timeout but the refs let the last two seconds run off the clock so the Redskins couldn’t even attempt what would have been like a 58 yard field goal. If Mosley would have gotten the opportunity but missed the kick I could have accepted the loss but the refs for whatever reason made sure we never got the opportunity to win the game.

I don’t remember the ending other than being completely dejected. Yeah, Mosely didn’t have the leg for 58 yards, but still give him the chance.
