I had to rewatch that play 3 times to see what you were talking about… what a beast. he is the heart of the defense. double-teamed and still got in the backfield. he blew that play up.

@Politically Correct Redskin F*ck yeah I’ve been saying this for the last month or so, Allen is playing like an All-Pro. Some guys get the money and give up, some guy see it as validation and they step up. Allen stepped up big time. I have a huge amount of respect for him. He didn’t Haynesworth us.

@Logical Dude Always been a big fan of him on the field, in the locker room and in the media. The guy is just wonderful. This team is him, Terry, Scherff and Heinicke. If they’re all playing I feel like we have a chance to win any game.

Hell man, I’m in my mid-30s and haven’t played football in 15 years and I could throw a “rope” for 10 yards lol… Fact is Heinicke might not have a great arm but that means he throws a catchable ball every time. I’ve never seen a pass where I was like, “He had too much smoke on that.” That was one of Haskins innumerable problems. Every pass was like a test of his arm strength. Heinicke gets it where it needs to go most of the time. It limits him but it also makes the ball easy to catch.

@Logical Dude Heinicke reminds me of John Stockton – dude is a team player and whenever he shoots he’s going for the throat. Undersung, but one of the best who played – an old reliable. Favre has the record for most consecutive starts and that’s who Heinicke models his play after – I think he’ll end up being the John Stockton of the NFL, except he’ll actually get a (some) Superbowl(s). It’s not about how fast you pass, but how you do it and when and utilizing misdirection. Brady ended up staring down his receivers, meanwhile Heinicke was baiting out neutral zone infractions and selling the play action, etc.
