I admit its hard to be optimistic as a long time Washington fan. Its hard to be patient. But I think we’re nearly there. 7 wins with the 4th hardest schedule. Couldve had 10 wins easy if it weren’t for a couple bad plays. We just need that QB1.

Lmao qb wasn’t the issue 100% injuries, y’all so ignorant look Taylor didn’t play great by any means, but he’s second behind Mac jones in my eyes as far as “rookies” go… we need oline and line backers in draft, only get a veteran qb if we can… keep Taylor starting at least for a year to save money. Just so you morons know he has the most wins and yards since cousins, and you know what I bet y’all wish we still had cousins…. Be freaking patient and give Taylor a chance and stop being uneducated fans…
@Evan Dixon We have oline. What we need are more weapons to throw to. Even with a healthy Thomas we have a 1 year wonder in Samuel who was hurt all season, and was mediocre when he was healthy enough to play. The fact we had Terry with over 1000 yards and yet the other 6 WRs combined for I think 112 more yards combined, that says a lot about the options we had on the field. But I agree that people keep looking at Heinicke like he’s been playing for years in the league. This was his first ever season actually getting any real playing time, and as a starter at that. It’s as much of a rookie season for him as it was for the guys drafted this year. People forget he is fresh off the couch last season, too, so he’s still got some rust to shake off. Give him a full offseason as the starter, and we may see ODU Heinicke in full force, and that dude was a scary QB to defend against.
@Nsaynity I agree bro… also don’t forget we’ve always been a team to throw on third down to rb so that’s a lot of yardage there, also the one thing we need is depth at oline, I know you may not agree… we have a lot of struggling parts when we have people consistently getting injured. No reason to waste cap space on a qb unless we get a veteran ….

If we cant get Pickett in the draft, I would look at Carson Strong out of Nevada. A accurate deep ball on a mediocre team. He may move up to late 1st or 2nd.

We need to draft Sam Howell, he’s willing to throw it up and let the receiver make a play, but has a bigger arm, more velocity on his passes, and a tenacious running game. He’s a better version of TH in my eyes
