I’m with ya. As a Utah Utes fan, Alex only got on the field in college because of a Brett Elliott injury. We had another QB (that used to be a regular starter) also on the bench, but they went with Alex. That was in the second game with Urban Meyer as the coach there.
Alex’s whole career is crazy interesting, right back to being overshadowed by Reggie Bush in HS. Alex’s dad was the principal and apparently wanted Alex to run cross country.
