Gibson is a class act who does fumble a lot, Mclarin is a class act who can be an all pro if we get him an elite QB. Still upset we didn’t draft Herbert over Chase. Now more than ever, but it’ll feel even worse if and when Herbert wins a super bowl with the Chargers. Which I think will be the case one day. What a miss
@Mike Aguilera i don’t even think Ron or the scouts had there eyes on Herbert. They were more focus on Tua or Chase lol. It what it is, I just hope we find our elite franchise QB soon!
@Jahnee Cash Fumbles don’t matter all the time, depends on how you perform afterwards or if you win, kind of like Joe Burrow winning a playoff game with 10 sacks.

Washington needs a franchise QB and they also need a healthy Curtis Samuel
True. But franchise quarterbacks do not grow on trees and I do not think Washington will mortgage their draft future for the next two years to get an older one. If it is a reasonable cost to get a Carr or a Mayfield, I can see it happening, otherwise no. And this year’s QB draft is not deep nor super impressive. Samuel was a huge disappointment this year.
@Jeffry Milton Doesn’t matter, Rivera needs to show he can develop a young QB after the disaster that was Dwayne Haskins. We’ll never be a hotspot for free agent QBs and no star QBs are gonna request a trade here. Fitz is getting old and was injured in his first drive, Heinicke has heart but is too inconsistent, and Allen is only here cause he knows the system. I honestly don’t care who it is, but they need to draft a QB.
@Eliseo Corral I agree. Just saying even if you draft one there is no guarantee he will be a franchise QB and Taylor will play until the draftee learns the system and time is given for them to develop. It is not automatic.
@Jeffry Milton I think we would do well trying to get Huntley or Trubisky since they are on rookie contracts. I would let Fitz walk and do a sign and trade with Daron.
@Nathaniel Corbin That might be an option. I am not so sure how high Rivera and others are on this tandem but it would not cost us a whole lot in players or draft picks. But whomever they bring in, we need a couple of additional quality depth pieces at O line, LB, and corner/safety and possibly one at RB.
Ok down to business let’s start scouting for a QB threw trade or Drafted pireod.

Its been a rough Season, but we took a Game from Brady, Newton, Wilson, and Carr. It was fun with that 4 Win Streak.

‘Skins have talent. Need more seasoning and upgrades where necessary. Personally I like Heinicke, but I suppose there are others who think if he goes 7-10 then he must be no better than a backup.
A battle of the worst!!!!
The defense was an abomination and why we had a poor season. Struggled with zone all year. Certainly exacerbated by injuries and Covid but every team faced these issues. We are not deep enough as a talent pool. Heineke struggled when the O-line fell apart, prior I loved what I saw.
Bobby McCain really proved his worth in this game
