I feel like that’s what really messed Heineke up. He got too much into his head about proving he can be a pocket passer. I feel like if he would have use his legs like he did when he first started playing, the team would have went further than what it did. His running is what created problems. I remember watching countless times where he could of just took off and got yards but instead held the ball, took unnecessary sacks, and turned the ball over.
I agree, he should have used his legs more
@David Covington yeah him trying to prove he can do it from the pocket versus just being him, making plays is what did him in.
And Gibson could easily be a 13 to 1400 yard back but they have to get back to being more physical like they were against NY. Go under center more instead of being in shotgun most of the game.
