Even from 1982, the rivalry still is alive and well to this day! As another Cowboys matchup is next this Sunday, will the Commanders come out on top just like this 1982 NFC Championship game?
It’s only a rivalry to the Washington fans because we’re always on the losing end. The Cowboys see us as another win. Not a rivalry.
We really need Erick flowers and Donald Penn some big offensive lineman to pass protect and open some holes in the running game.
The great thing about joe theismann is he was very tough and an outstanding leader he also the great ability to move well on the pocket and run and had a great strong, accurate arm. We haven’t found that in any Washington quarterback since he played for us and that is one of the big reasons we really struggle at the quarterback position

I pity anyone who’s never seen a Redskins game at RFK stadium – so many great memories, so many great games – in 30 years at RFK the Redskins won 12 playoff games, 5 of them NFC Championships. In 30 years at Fedex field they’ve won a grand total of one playoff game
2-0 against the Cowboys all-time in games that matter(the playoffs, though haven’t we won the division twice against them beating them the last game of the season 2 times?).
They threw this up to make fans happy most of which can’t remember this and were o KY shiners in our fathers eyes
This is what home field advantage is supposed to look like! The glory days! Not the visiting team taking over our stadium. The fans deserve this style of dominant football, especially the younger fans who missed out on the glory days! #rfkwasrocking #sellthedamnteamdan
