I love how JDR (and Riverboat) never give their guys praise they haven’t earned. He’s hard on his players, sets challenging expectations… and pushes them to rise to those expectations. That’s a football coach.

It was, it’s a source of pride to the players. The logo was not the issue. It was approved. The nickname was not, just accepted over the years until it wasn’t. It will go when the name is official. It would’ve cost a small fortune to fix, so they probably wanted to wait until they were making the permanent change. No excuses though.
