As a niner fan, I sense this as a trap game. I’m keeping what happened to the eagles in mind, Washington is still a decent team.

I know this game is important to the 49ers, in the sense that they’re chasing the #2 seed, but I feel its more important to play the starters conservatively. Rotate starters in and out with 2nd/3rd stringers on both sides of the ball frequently, with the exclusion of Purdy. All the starters have a full season of reps and experience behind them, but Purdy needs more of that if we’re going to go deep in the playoffs, so I think its important he builds that experience as much as he can before going into the post season. But everyone else? Let the starters rest a bit, lessen the chances of an injury during these last few games, and give the 2nd/3rd stringers more reps and experience in case we need them later.
The Niners can’t control how the Vikings will do, thus not chasing anything.

The Giants REDSKINS game was rigged to get Dallas a guaranteed playoff spot. Don’t kid yourself, at the end of the day, the NFL is about $$$, and when Dallas misses out of the playoffs, the NFL loses money.
I look at the giants and commanders as identical twins. So this would be a great test run for the 49ers seeing that they are either playing Washington or New York in the first round
