I am officially Sold on Brock Purdy. He has proven that he reads defenses well and is great at avoiding pressure. On top of that he isn’t afraid of pushing the ball downfield! Great win Niner Gang let’s keep fighting for the 2 seed π₯π

Brock Purdy has really improved game by game with his pre-snap reads and hitting his target on time for big plays in the passing game

I heard it for Tampa, Seattle and coach Carrol scheming and Washington defense has been Solid and topped ranked. Not he is the next best thing. But at this moment Brock has looked better and better and better than anything we’ve had. Washington took away the run game and short game. He adjusted and blazed this. 49ers ain’t never looked this good and dominant. I hope continues but I appreciate Brock bringing it. The sample is getting bigger now so he getting a good portfolio on him. Shanahan for the most part has been dialing it up and he has been balling and completing the task amazingly.

True but Shanahan knows he has to becareful with Purdy. As well as Purdy is doing, he has to be kept on a leash. He is very limited and has to play within the system just like Jimmy G. The only real difference between the two is that Purdy is a bit more athletic. That’s the reason Shanahan calls for alot of runs. Shanahan true potential as a play caller has only been truly unlocked twice, and It was Spectacular. First with RG3 before he blew out his knee and with peak Matt Ryan. Both those offensives were dynamic.

I say we play hard, but there is no reason to play too hard because we already got a guaranteed spot. The league already know we the best defense in the league. Great adjustments by the 49ers offense in the second half. Scoring on 6/7 possessions is a recipe for success

@Schatje I’m not a Jimmy G fan, but the smart play would be to use the last IR activation on Jimmy. The Niners have shown that they can win without Elijah. They haven’t shown that they could win with Josh Johnson, if you catch my drift.

Itβs CMC and JP at this pointβ¦Kyle will do whatever it takes to keep the rushing attack viable I imagine but who knows. Kyle makes me eat crow a decent amount of the times.
@Christian Gonzalez he could be but Deebo is such a stud in his own right. Plus, much like CMC, that dude forces defenses to account for him at all times. When theyβre both on the field, it means Aiyuk, Jennings, Kittle, and CMC himself will probably be in single coverage or busting soft zone. No way we wanna hit the playoffs without him if possible.
I’ve felt better the last 3 weeks with Purdy than i have sense Young played for them. The man has serious talent and here’s to hoping he is recognized for it.

I’ll never forget the time I met Brock Purdy. I was working as a contractor in the back hallways of the practice facility when he came walking by. He had to slow down and kind of squeeze by me as I was on a step ladder in the hallway.
As he got even with me, he stopped right in front of me as I was facing outward with my back to the step ladder and facing him.
He looked up, smiled and said “grope ya later” then gave my privates a firm but playful squeeze. He then walked away. It was the strangest thing ever.
Kittle’s potential to be a monster offensive force is definitely there and needs to be fully utilized like today. Merry Xmas 49ers fans!

Going back to that non-PI call on Samuel in the end zone in the Giants game, look at the replay and there also should have been a second PI call on the same play–the DB pushed Jahan Dotson to the ground at the front of the end zone.
