@Wardawg It’s bad for Wentz, not for Washington. If your appointed leader can’t earn the trust of his teammates, he’s not a good leader. Doesn’t matter if it’s sports, business, or war. Good leaders inspire followers. Heineke plays with heart, so his players play for him.

@James Jenkins about the possibility of a late hit, he said it in the post game.. you realize this is an extremely uncommon play, right? Lol and I’m not saying it wasn’t smart… I don’t know why you are bringing up throwing the ball away again, I already conceded that point… regarding injury, that’s debatable. If he really wasn’t expecting a late hit, it could have been worse than a traditional sack. Qbs are protected more and more from vicious hits. You do a lot of name-calling but I think you could look into the mirror a little 😉 … also, like I pointed out, he essentially gave up on the play. If in fact the defenders had time to slow their momentum, the qb could conceivably have time to extend the play. He was aware that a late hit call was a possibility, which he admitted to, and that changes the equation

When you think about it this isnt college football where they are considered down when the knee touches the turf, this is the NFL where a player needs to be touched by someone from the opposing team while down to be considered down. In the NFL a player can get up and run if thet havent been touched by an opposing player while down. But that hit on Heinicke when he was already down by the Eagles defender was completely unnecessary
It was corny is what it was when your a defensive lineman trying to lay out the quarter back your not gonna think to not tackle him even if he is close to the ground
Pass protection from the commanders was much improved , gave Heineke plenty of time to make good decisions, even if sometimes it was to throw it away.

Washington was out played by Minnesota. Only the refs interference that turned a for sure Minnesota interception into a Washington touchdown is the only thing that made it a close game. Besides that they were never really in a position to beat Minnesota. They did put up a good fight though. Washington is definitely a playoff worthy team with Heineke at QB.

Heinecke deserved this win, such a humble guy. Plays with all his heart every game
They way Heinecke stayed on the field in order to congratulate Tom Brady on the win in the 2020 Wild Card was what showed me that Heinecke is a stand up guy. And I’m not even a Washington fan.

I was so pleased to see Heinicke having enough time to throw the ball! Our O-Line stepped up to protect him. Our defense stepped up even more! Our kicker made FGs and extra points. The whole team stepped up and it was such an amazing game to watch! #HTTR #HTTC
Good win agisn’t eagles but im gonna say that the calls where bs grab the face mask and no call ruled fumble 55 pushed Heinicke helemet back i understand dat but he was celebrating in front of the defense no taunt ? well all in all is qb’s get protected
There were definitely calls that weren’t called especially that face mask. But the unnecessary roughness on Heinicke after he kneeled down was not BS. Graham had enough time to slow down or at least jump over Heinicke so that he doesn’t seem like he was trying to tackle. Heinicke got up because he knew that it was an unnecessary roughness. Yes, he celebrated and the refs didn’t call for taunting but Heinicke wasn’t taunting or getting into any Eagles players faces. Instead, he ran off where no Eagles players and celebrated.

Heinicke is such a baller, a playmaker and a gamer. He does not have the greatest or even an average arm, but he just keeps winning games for some reason
The commander’s o line was incredible.
Great gameplan by the commanders. Shrunk the game, efficient on 3rd down. Forced Turnovers, never flinched. Got points when they could. Really embraced the challenge against a great defensive line. Just a complete game. As a Vikings Fan, I say thank you!

Only difference here is Titans and Vince Young led a 99 yard drive after the 2min warning with no time outs to score the game winner. Idk what happened here
