Tough tie for the giants, won’t be getting those typa calls at Washington’s home stadium. Officiating was terrible for Washington, as a neutral fan I’m surprised they even came back

@My Dickens Cidar No, that would be dumb. That’s what I always hated about soccer, when no one is able to score in a tactical way.
They then switch the game up completely by just having to kick the ball in a stationary position with no defenders but the goalie.
The tie was honestly the most fitting end of a game for both of these teams.

Wrong. For real NFC East football, watch highlights of the division from the 1980’s through the very early 1990s. Today’s league, the NFC East included is a pathetic joke. Neither Bill Parcells nor Joe Gibbs would have allowed their teams to play to a tie.
@Classic Galactica I don’t agree. A tie actually will help the Giants . They have literally no offensive weapons except Barkley and Slayton. That lost 2 Seattle can be huge but they need some division wins. . I think there 0-2-1. This was suppose 2 be a rebuilding year but they have been competitive in almost all there games. They need 10 wins and they will get in. 9 wins won’t be enough especially if Seattle gets hot.

@dan polseno exactly why you could say for giants this felt like a loss. And for commander you say it felt like a tie. In the long run it hurts NY more. Yes these 2 play again in 2 weeks. But its in washington. So that gives them the slight advantage.
Washington loves making my blood pressure go up. I knew this would be a tough game tho. But I guess it’s better than taking the L. I’m not happy or made admit this outcome. I actually don’t know how I feel. 😅 This was definitely unexpected. We got the next game at home tho 💪🏽
Both teams snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory. Tough road ahead for the Giants (Eagles, Commanders, Vikings). Hopefully they can at least get one or two of these games.
I’ll take a tie over a lost but we definitely should’ve won. I would love to see some more play action from the commanders

Ties are a half win though. If one team finishes 9-8 and another 9-7-1, the 9-7-1 team gets in

As a niners fan this was one of the best games of the year. I’m not a fan of either team but the Giants and Commanders look impressive this season. Giants are doing well this season and so are commanders. A game like this where there was a tie at the end of it It’s rare to see.
Especially since this is a rebuild year for us and we have many holes and lack of talent at certain positions
yeah theres rarely any games you can call “good” games that end up in a tie. most of the time its just an awful game

I don’t care what Washington did or didn’t do, that is PATHETIC OFFENSE. Whether it’s play calling, execution, or confidence. I don’t care. That is a fireable bottom line. I don’t care who our receivers are. It is inexcusable to lose that game because of such pathetic offensive output. In a home division game with playoff implications, the Giants showed their true colors as PRETENDERS and NOT WORTHY of a playoff spot, and I would rather they had lost outright than end in a tie to this otherwise pathetic Washington squad. So disappointed in this Giants team. Barkley is running soft again. Doesn’t hit the hole with any speed or strength. They waste so many plays on negative/non-gaining runs. The defense deserves a lot of credit despite not being able to stop the run, if Washington had just stayed committed to the run they probably would have won. The bottom line is if Jones doesn’t make a spectacular play with his legs this offense has NOTHING.
If you’ve watched all the games Giants fans you know I’m right, this team blows on offense. And we’re about to buried by the upcoming schedule. It was fun while it lasted, and yeah we’ll have 8 maybe 9 wins this year, and on paper is a nice turnaround from the last couple years. But ultimately disappointing given the start and they’re still just terrible frustrating product to watch. See you next Sunday!
It never crossed my mind that this game could’ve ended in a tie. Wow! As a Commanders fan I was honestly ready to accept defeat but instead I feel incomplete 😏. Proud of my team for fighting all the way down to the very end. Great game G‐men 👍👍
