Each time I see fuller make a big play like that. I’m greatful he came back home
Not taking anything away from B-Rob cuz he put on for his city, but Sean Taylor was in the building today saying “Young man i got shot in the leg but you will get back up and you will carry on for me”. And “carry on” he did! Sorry, but the 12th man was on the field today!
Great win! Heinicke had one bad int, but was overall not game changing. We need more drives like that first TD drive we had. Combined with our 3 RB’s, and defense, we definitely are playoff contenders for sure.
Heinicke played terribly. He won, but left a lot of points on the field and wasted an opportunity to score by throwing interceptions.

@James Jenkins he didn’t play terribly. He had that one very bad throw for the INT and some incompletions but overall considering it was raining the entire game he did what he had to do to get the W. It wasn’t pretty but games in those conditions rarely are as far as passing goes.
OLD WSH TEAMS WOULD’VE PACKED IT IN. NOT THIS TEAM, I FEEL LIKE SOMETHING SPECIAL IS BREWING THE WHOLE TEAM IS IN SYNC AND BUYING IN WITH ALL THE OUTSIDE DISTRACTIONS WITH SYNDER THEY SHOW RESILIENCY TIME & TIME AGAIN
People keepp saying they want to switch out Heinicke but we are 6-1 with him. He may not be winning us games but at least he isnt losing us games. Wentz getting sacked 8 times a game and going 3 and out was losing us the game. from 1-4 to 6-1 is evidence that Heinicke needs to be our quarterback. He isnt perfect but he is winning us games.

Actually if the season was to end today it would be the whole NFC East would be in the playoffs we have all three wild card spots with a giant Dallas and the Commanders and Philly would of course own the division if it was to end today … But the season ain’t over and the way the Commanders “Redskins” have started playing as a team I see no stop in there GAME..

After watching that last play a few times I’m pretty sure that would have been a TD if Payne wouldn’t have got his paw on that ball and tipped it up to Fuller.
I won’t lie I thought we were for sure going to blow that game. Payne has definitely shown all year that he’s worthy of a big extension. He should get about the same as Allen got. I’ve always said that if those guys on the front 4 all live up to their potential that we may only be able to pay 3 out of the 4 once they become free agents and that if we lost 1 of them I would let Payne walk to keep the rest. Now I’m changing that opinion. We absolutely cannot let him walk in free agency and Rivera has said as much
