I wanna know how will this defense perform with out another LB next to cole Holcomb ? b/c from the looks of it ya depending on Jamin to make a big leap this year and so am I but in all honesty I see us winning nfc east with 10/11 wins
@Will Smith I agree he should be outside because he’s fast and agile he should be running w TE’s & Slots. I don’t think he is a MLB and that’s what we need next to Cole Holcomb
Go on and believe the hype, for me nah not so much especially so easily the defensive schemes seemed to confuse only the Washington team and extremely seldom were the opponents confused. In fact, the opponents quite regularly did whatever they wanted. Down the stretch even before the NFL screwed them with a disease protocol BS and took out their entire defense, more NFL corruption? The only real stat that matters in the end is wins and losses, so let’s see what their JACKED-UP defense does this coming year.

@Shady Ground I agree I’m tired of having high expectations with nothing to go off & @chillguydave they said they will get a veteran LB before FA period and all them are gon at least the great ones so idk bout that anymore especially giving Carson 28mill this year

They’re going to bring in some vet linebackers, Ron said it. I really think they want Jamin to make the next step and secure the Mike position. Obviously Holcomb could do it but I don’t think that’s a preference for the staff.
If Commanders were going to get a plug and play MLB why didn’t they address it in free agency or the draft?

Expecting a lot more from Jack Del Rio he had alot of guys playing out of position J. Davis was never a MLB it took half a season to bump Landon down to LB/Buffalo bring in Will Jack who thrived in Man and make him play zone tried rushing 4 and they weren’t getting home the name of the game is pressure the QB Warren Sapp said it best the QB needs to feel you even if it isn’t sacks he’s gonna think twice about holding that ball

When the defense was healthy it played well half of the season before Covid
But with a more talented defense and more speed
I like to see more blitzes at times
JD was drafted to be a mike. Had to be given a chance. Landon had to be convinced to do that role.

Linebacker sometimes takes a while to develop. I can think back to solid linebackers that were awful or didnt play their rookie years, then broke out their second years. Like rocky mcintosh or keenan robinson. Maybe jamin will be a monster this season.

Exactly! I hope he balls out and has 100 tackles I do wish he would be a bit more agressive just a little attitude, it’s great to be a nice guy the rest of the week but for 60 minutes put on that Ray Lewis mask!

With camp and a full preseason I think he will be ready to kill it

How did he not get fired last year? Our defense was so underwhelming.
Ignore last year this is the year we should hold everyone accountable we got a new qb all our players will return healthy Curtis will be on the field we have everything they said they needed so if we get 7 wins again it’s definitely on Ron jack and Scott

It took you 4 games before you had Cam Kurl playing more than 40 percent of the snaps, it took an injury to Bostic before you realized he was getting juked out of his jock strap , it was mid season before you pushed Landon closer to the line so he wouldn’t get burnt deep EVERY game! You need to make moves the moment you see issues! Wake up ! The talent is there use it in the right way! We deserve better as fans so much better!
Gotta consider that if they knew better, they’d do better!

Jack knows what he has on defense now, so this middle of the season turn around, shouldn’t be happening this season, chase & that d-line should be getting after QBs game 1 ( HTTWC’S )
