TB and NO will be tough. Bears on the road too just because of the different environment. They probably have a shot at wild card with 9-7. Real shame they couldn’t pull out the Seahawks and Titans wins.

where was this defense all year? the last two games, they’ve been amazing. if they played like this the entire time, the vikes would be leading the division
still a young core of corners, and without Hunter they’re adapting pretty well. We just gotta give it time. I still think we can make a strong playoff push, but I’m not counting on it too much. Next year we’ll see what we’re actually made of. I like this we’re playing as of late tho.
i think it’s been relying on tight ends more rather than forcing the ball to thielen/jefferson, letting cook eat, and better defensive play that has helped the last two games. we’ll see about a playoff berth. lotta good teams and the vikes have a lot of ground to make up
@Maximus Keene yeah I agree, relying on the tight ends have been giving us a good sign on offense, now that Kirk doesn’t force the ball as much I think we’ll be fine. Our o line has been playing lights out, and opening gaps for cook, if we can show up and beat the bears next week I think we have a chance.

The defense is improving but until Pierce and Hunter come back to pair with Ifeadi and Wonnum this D is carried by its Linebackers Kendriks is the best MLB in the league Wilson is a stud and Dye is steadily improving they can move on from Barr and still have an elite linebacking core
Ifeadi puts on pressure every play? Wdym?
and next season we add an All-Pro DE, a very good DT, a pro-bowl linebacker, and probably spend a first round pick on our D.

@Vision yeah but if we somehow go 10-6, 11-5 or even worse i don’t think we’ll get him. if he keeps playing the way he’s playing i don’t think we have much of a chance. and even if we could draft him, i don’t think we do

He’s a good guy and I love him but he was gonna be expensive for us and has drastically fallen off in the last couple compared to his prime. In this game vs one of the worse O lines in the league he got exactly 0 sacks, 0 pressures.
Gladney improving a lot. Still needs work but he’ll be very good for us
