Hell yea i mean just look at what Patterson has done in Atlanta this past season completely reviving his career on the offensive side of the ball being a huge contributor by simply getting the ball in his hands. That’s a player goin into year 10 so the opportunities Velus should get seem inspiring with excellent yards after contact getting him the ball is gonna be a key to the offense!
I hope/think he will develop into more of a sole receiver like Deebo has. A guy that can get 1400 yards and 10 TD’s

Velus is a man. A young man, but a mature young man, who has a mind and body that is ready to play MUCH MORE than a 21 year old kid. I love this pick and I think him and Trestan Ebner are going to shock the NFL, not just Bears fans! Let’s GO

I thinknhe and elija hicks are my picks to click. Hicks has an ability to force fumbles that reminds me of peanut Tillman. Valus has a natural ability to getting open. He’s got 100 different ways he gets himself open. No matter howngreat your skills are if you can’t get yourself open , then its all for nothing.

Completely agree, both of those guys are going to be electric with the ball in their hands, same goes for Elijah Hicks. Prediction, Hicks will make Jackson expendable next year.
Just some numbers on Velus Jones Jr. He’s 1 inch taller than Mooney, 26-30 lbs. heavier than Mooney and ran 4.31(second fastest receiver) to Mooney 4.38 at the NFL combine. Don’t mean he can play in the NFL but his tape and his size/speed gives him a chance.
Pretty sure Devin Hester was the first player to have 100 speed in Madden history.
