Urban definitely still talks like a college coach. He’s honest and talks about his players like he’s a second father. I’m hoping he gets the best out of them and we turn this teams into a bunch of winners sooner rather than later. Very excited!

Disappointed that we didn’t get a TE, but I’m heartened that Urban thinks the same. Although I’m sure all coaches know when they have shortcomings, it makes me feel like we got the right person when Urban talks about them.

@711wild Luke Farrell is not a viable TE, he’s a stretch tackle. He’ll catch about as many balls as Manhertz. Anyone who knows football understands that’s not what anyone is talking about when they say ‘we need a TE’…

They can’t let Trevor get beat up like Joe Burrow. Not sure what the stats are? But how much more effective is a QB if he has an extra 2/3 seconds to throw? O Line needs to protect the QB
Jacksonville Jags have one of the best offensive line coaches in the NFL. He will be just fine

I like how Urban knows Tebow’s name right off the top of his head, but he has to look at his notes to recall Travis’ Etienne’s name. Urban will learn that the buddy-buddy network won’t win games in the NFL. Maybe he should draft Tate Martell to start, and put Lawrence on the bench.
