Vikings biggest threat to bills defense is the tight end. They would have lost without his play. He is big and he gets open.

I’m no doctor, but sounds like Josh may need *ulnar nerve transposition surgery* to me, a.k.a. (Tommy John). I’ve had it done, *IF* Josh has it done now, he will more than likely be side-lined for most of the remainder of the season. Symptoms include: accelerating permanent Sharp pain and burning at the elbow, and severe numbness in the pinky side half of the hand including the entire pinky and ring fingers. Basically, your elbow feels like you smacked your funny bone really hard every time you throw a ball, and the numbness in the hand as it progresses, remains severe and permanent without surgery. If Josh decides to play through it, it will only cause more damage and pain to the already inflamed nerve in the elbow. From personal experience, I can admit that the recovery from this particular surgery is quite painful and takes longer to heal. Cortisone shots will not fix the progression of this. Then again, he is Josh Allen. God bless, our hearts are with you Josh.
I wrote before the season something like, “The Bills most important job is to keep Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs healthy.” Now I will admit I thought that if Josh would get injured it would come on some quarterback designed run perhaps. But the way Josh was injured could happen to any quarterback really although because he has such a strong arm that actually works against him. (I watched “Soul and Science” with Josh and I believe he gets his hand going at 75 MPH when he releases the ball, which translates to about a 62 MPH ball speed. But the faster an arm goes the more damage can be done if it’s stopped really quickly during a throwing motion and I think that’s what happened against the Jets.)

It’s fantastic that Josh Allen’s injury is only a sprain. I was very concerned when I heard “Tommy John Surgery.” If that would’ve been the case he probably would be out until opening day 2024 and THAT would be a very bad scenario.

I think Josh will be fine. I actually wouldn’t mind him not playing to avoid any further injury than him playing. We’re alright. GO BILLS!
