@Larseus No, John Paps is correct. Nagy is a clown. He needs to do better. He needs to hold his team accountable like Wims and Miller punching other players during games, that shows lack of leadership and puts them before the team. (I can give more examples if you need). He’s been gifted with an outstanding Defense and an offense that is serviceable. (With this years draft the sky could be the limit). If he would stop being stubborn with his “Be You” BS and run the ball more with Montgomery to set up play action and stop running cute trick plays that rarely work ie Jet sweep to tight ends for a loss of yards on critical 3rd down plays or only use your starting running back 9 times in a game when his first run is for 80 yards, (sometimes you just gotta put a hat on a hat) work on his situational football acumen such as down and distance plays, game clock management and get out of his own way he wouldn’t have to surrender his play calling to Bill Lazor and the Bears would be much better off. Did you happen to notice how much better the Bears played when Nagy stopped calling the plays? I don’t have anything personal against Nagy except that he is squandering the careers of some of our aging vets like Mack and Hicks, those types of players don’t grow on trees and are generational, if Nagy played his cards right we should be a contender every year and put some fear in the Packers hearts instead of being the lovable losers they have been for so many years. That’s my 2 cents. Bear Down!!!
@Ken Vance Couldn’t agree more, Nagy is to inflexible players have to play within his scheme. He should have plays to showcase players strengths. Like rb Montgomery!

I’m watched Dalton throw multiple throws and he cannot pass the ball anywhere nearly as clean as fields. Let Dalton take the first week beat down against the Rams and bench him, best payday he ever got in his life.

Goldman opted out last season you think he would be the first one at Halas Hall getting in all the reps and practice after being away from football for so long.
Yeah, and they missed him in middle. Does all the dirty work up front so everyone else can shine. Very underrated, and a must to be a top 5 defense.
Can’t wait to see what the new D coordinator can do with this still ELITE defense. I’m sure a lot of the regression has to do with the offense being terrible for most of the year last season but I swear pagano held them back and made them a stagnate defense. turned them into a “lose gracefully D” then that risky ball hawk play making D they are capable of

You’ve got to wonder about any football player, in the prime of their short career, who decides to opt out. Every player’s situation is different, but for Goldman to miss minicamp is troubling- especially if you’re counting on him to be a difference maker in the middle of that line. He hasn’t suited up in p, what, 18 months? At best, he’ll be rounding into form 6-8 weeks into the season. At worst, he may never see the field again for the Bears
