Should start on the ravens if Lamar ain’t playing well next game put Huntley in at half. Look at past three games from Huntley and Lamar. Side by side and Huntley passing rating is good. Lamar has more rushing yards but that’s because he bailed on his feet instead of read and reacting to make an accurate pass.
Should be a starter on this team

Honestly the ravens should resign huntley to a long term contract because itd be less then lamar and trade lamar for 3 first round picks and draft the best possible team
Insaid it last year and im a steelers fan he came in in that ine playoff game and looked solid than vs the bears he had a couple of nice plays to ravens could move lamar to wide receiver🤣

Huntley was playing exactly like Lamarr was in 2019. Makes me wonder what’s happening with Lamar. I think the problem is Lamar is trying way too hard.
@YMN TY How do teams not prepare for him? He’s on the same team as Lamar Jackson and has a similar playing style. That statement contradicts itself. Secondly, this performance by Huntley was on the #6 best defense in the league.

Huntley impressive again. A real NFL caliber QB. Undrafted eh? I think what we’re seeing of the ravens organization is amazing. Must watch football, regardless what side you’re watching from.
Plus great coaching and a very deep roster! All credit to a great organization,.
Not sure how “deep” the roster really is. But they seem to get the most out of everyone. I suppose that’s due to the demeanor set by the coaching staff and team leaders. They do talk about that, about Lamar, and now Tyler, being confident, unflappable, able to simply concentrate on the next play. This shows every game. They are never out of it. Even with their 2nd string. That is what’s amazing. They are a dangerous team, regardless the score.
I can tell Huntley looks up to Lamar he plays just like him.
Tyler been doing this since he beat Lamar in high school.

Watching this group of guys compete against, and hang in there with the best in the league, really says something about their effort and coaching. If they can make the playoffs, they have a shot to win some games!
Huntley has been playing the way I expected Lamar to play at this juncture of his career. Using his mobility to create time in the pocket for intermediate to deep passes and excelling at the short to intermediate timing route passes and slant routes with quick reads and releases. He’s basically *my* Lamar 2.0.

Lamar needs to get under his wing and learned the passing and patience in the pocket.
Im not even mad about this loss. Huntley balled out! Just defense couldnt stop Rogers and had some few bad playcalls. But still did pretty good against a top 10 defense
Gotta give the University of Utah props, they prepare their athletes to succeed in the pros.

Reminds Me of when Garoppolo stepped in for Brady for some games and showed he was good. Huntley is playing his way to a real nice multi year deal next season via free agency.
This loss proved two things.
1. 1. Tyler is the best backup in the league and if he decides to play for another team I won’t be mad. If he stays that could create a very unique offense.
2. The Ravens are playing to have fun, every team in the league would’ve kicked the ball and sent the game into OT. But the Ravens have tried the 2pt conversion 3 weeks in a row.
a QB needs reps. I’ve never seen a QB have 5-10 reps per game and be effective. HOw would that work?

A just but not possible reward for these folks is to get JF back in the position and send LJ away. I’m sure there would be plenty of teams interested in LJ as their starting qb. I’m a LJ fan, and all respect to Flacco, but these folk should have the just medicine of getting what they’re hoping for. So much for fair weather friends . . . away with them all.
Huntley can ball, I’m sorry absolutely zero hate on Lamar but the guy looks like a more refined version of Lamar, using his legs to make those short and intermediate throws. I know it was a loss but he really looked impressive and for sure will end up starting somewhere in the league. Not to mention he came off the bench, be interesting to see him 3 games later with the starters.
Excatly my thoughts. Huntley is what they ravens are trying to do with Lamar. He can do everything better besides his elusiveness.
