I’m old enough to remember the two QB system employed by the Cowboys. As opposed to the Texans, the Cowboys used Roger Staubach and Craig Morton, both excellent QB’s. Ultimately one had to go. Then there was Dan Pastorini and Lynn Dickey of my beloved Oilers. Ironically both drafted in the 1971 draft. Something that would not happen in today’s game. Had it not been for a sever injury, who knows how Dickey’s career would have projected.
