Tuff game guys fins up next week

Matthew Walker

Look Phins Nation, I’m upset they lost just like y’all. But there is way too much overreaction. The season is not over at 6-4 if it wasn’t over at 1-3. Tua is not a bust after a bad game when he just had two good games back to back. It is way too early to give up on him, the season, and this regime as a whole. We need to relax and wait for the next game until the season is over until then we’ll have our answer about the 2020 Miami Dolphins

    D8 L8

@Sparky Pluggs lol like as if someone out there in the last 20 years hasnt prayed for miami to be good just once

    Sparky Pluggs

@Slippin’ Jimmy Fitz blows as many games as he wins with his play. But I see how coming off the bench he can be a good resort when the starter is struggling. Flores still shouldn’t have benched Tua. He never benched Fitzpatrick mid game when he’s throwing picks.

    Sparky Pluggs

@D8 L8 Exactly. People pray for their teams to do good all the time and so do the other teams fans. So it would still be a wash even if prayers worked lol. Nor should sports team be something to pray over even if prayers worked

    Jeff Tripodi

It might be over because this was a win that we were supposed to win, just makes me nervous trying to get in the playoffs potentially at 9-7 or 10-6 in my opinion while we could’ve kept the win streak going

    98.6TheMouth

Tua and the entire team need to bounce back next week by crushing the Jets.

Jayden Cochran

Should have keep tua in

    Jayden Cochran

    @Phantom096 yea

    Jake Abjornson

Fitzpatrick played 2 drives and had more passing yards

    Jayden Cochran

    @Jake Abjornson yea

    Jayden Cochran

@Jake Abjornson bc he keep getting sacked

    Jayden Cochran

@Jake Abjornson aye who throw the game away

aaron northcutt

Respect Tua, can’t win em all! Prepare and get ready for next week! 👏🏻 happy thanksgiving to all the Phins players 🦃🦃

    iambaguette

@DNasty Channel I’d rather pick a mean MLB first, a true run stop. Then, yes why not those 2 Wr.
But our last 1st rounder, I would give it to Najee Harris. He is not the fastest Rb, but he can break tackle with ease. He’s also dangerous in the air and as a bonus point he played with Tua.

    Rodga Laurius

@iambaguette receiver first man we been going defense heavy we need Smith or Rb Etienne

    Ray Cope

    I know that’s right.

    iambaguette

@Rodga Laurius That is true, i give you credit for that.
But our run stop is so bad.

    MobNotch Films

Nah kid I luv tua but that one falls on his parents but he did let his ego get in the way it’s just carma, from what he said about the nfl, the nfl is not ez, he wasn’t humble until he disrespected the game by saying that. So the game bit him back. You are never bigger than the game, I think he has apologized for that now he will become a young great. Dnt cross the game it’s real Life. Not fa long nfl

Luke Brown

Tua dont listen to the people saying you’re a bust after a bad game, I’ve seen some Fins fans saying the organization made a mistake drafting you but most of us know that you’re the future of this team. Keep your head up and continue to improve

    100anti

Their not true phin fans. Posers from other teams.

    Ryan Fitzpatrick

I want this to be my wallpaper. This is so true, we know Tua is the answer and he will overcome his rookie struggles. Tua will get better every week man

    98.6TheMouth

Too many haters out there. Tua needs to just keep learning and improving. Let the haters wallow in their own hate.

    Slim Brady

@98.6TheMouth It’s honestly crazy that ppl hate this kid so much. I’m not a Dolphins fan, but I’m rooting for them because I want to see him succeed.

    iambaguette

Plus, Tua wasn’t all that bad. He threw almost as much yards as he did against the rams. All of that while getting sacked or hit 14 times!
Tua didn’t sabotage our offense, like some “fans” says. Our Oline did.

Matthew Orlandi

Glad to see Tua handle his first NFL loss maturely.

    Tim Jones

he needs to feel the pain of a loss before he can really grow and avoid mistakes.

Jacob Cunha

Fitz is very humble and thats whats best about him…he really wants to help tua succeed

    Dave Wetherell

    Class

    I Fa'amausili

    Well said.

    LanDo Misiluki

This what teammates should be like 👍🏽

    Andre Mensah

    Are you sure about that

    Jacob Cunha

@JAY co how does that even make sense when fitz put up more yards in two drives than tua did the entire game….flores’ choice to pull tua was best for the team and its showed…that being said he did throw plenty of risky balls and it wound up getting to him at the end but u cant honesty think with the rest of the game tua could of put together a scoring drive

Anthony 25

It’s his FOURTH start, the O-line played miserably and the game will continue to slow down for him.Tua will be fine! Another thing, the defensive front allowed too many back breaking long runs. So, the O-line and D-line has to play better. This season is like playing with “house money”. The plan to be relative and competitive was for 2021. I’ll enjoy this season, we are coming though!!!!

    Eric Storm

Anthony 25 not having Wilkins and Godchaux showed. They need Wilkins back now.

Darryl Wallace

I don’t trust Chan Gailey. Tua may have had a rough game, but Chan since day one has never mixed it up, and always makes Tua run the same play over and over again. It also doesn’t help that Chan always tries to establish the run game anytime Tua works up a rhythm but didn’t do any of this the moment Fitz checked into the game. I also hate how Flores didn’t let Tua learn from his mistakes like he allowed Fitz to do when he still started. I’m beginning to wonder if some within the Miami Dolphins organization want Tua to succeed.

    100anti

@C_Ase_Ce strategy, their trying to keep the score tight so defense don’t get winded. He just needs to throw it earlier, like he said. Receivers gotta be creative on their routes. More communication n practice. They got to score when it counts. They just had a bad game. They’ll regroup.

    Andrew Jones

Want Tua to succeed? Bro your joking right man?

    Ray Cope

    I’m skeptical on Chan Gailey.

    C_Ase_Ce

@Ray Cope Yea his play calling has been mediocre at best with Tua. Needs to open it up more and be more creative. Running has been terrible which doesn’t help the passing either.

    100anti

    @Ray Cope trust the process

Bruno Vegas

Remember it’s TEAM WORK AND EFFORT NOT JUST ABOUT THE QUARTERBACK ALL 11 PLAYERS ON THE FIELD Has a job!!!

    Dustin Swartz

And they ALL PLAYED LIKE SH!T

Ethan Kerr

This comment section is much more civil than some of the other Dolphins channels

    MajorHurricane

Its the official team page they must have a filter for sure lol

Luke Brown

I love to see the positivity by our fans, despite the loss we have hope in Tua and this defense. FINS up! learn from the loss and improve

Zachary Lebitz

Who’s that Fitzpatrick dude😂 he looks like a whole different person with the beard cut

    Jacob Lopez

He looked frozen on camera for a while lol

Leonardo Delacruz

keep your head up tua, like u said a learning expierence luv that humbleness cant win em all bro now lets beat this sorry jets next week GO FINS!!!!!!!!!

    Rick Brenner

The Jets aren’t “sorry”. Take that perspective and the Phins play down to their level, like they did with Denver today and end up losing to the Jets, as well. Coach Flo should know better and should treat all opponents as if they are gunning for the Phins, regardless of what their record is.

Josh Lee

Tua is going to come back strong

Ryan J.

OL sucked it up today. No receivers can get any separation. Tua was inaccurate partially because of the above. What a kick in the teeth today was. Tough to watch to be honest

    Julius Monticalvo

Agree I saw the same thing. Receivers could not get any separation and forced Tua to have to hold on to the ball longer than he should. Although I do would like to see Tua take off and run. He had a lot of situations where he can take off and run but took the sack instead. We need to get Tua more dynamic weapons.

    Domenick Sutton

parker doesn’t get separation but he high points the ball and that’s what he is extremely good at

    Christopher Jones

    Perspective:

Two starting OL players were out and two rookies filled in. In truth, however, this line cannot run block. So many people say we need to draft a RB next year. That’s missing things. Our backs are fast and creative. There’s just no space. The good runs always come from the outside.

Yesterday, given the injuries, the pass blocking was worse, but Tua holds the ball too long. He does this because the Phins have the worst separation in the league. Fitz just throws the ball in there high anyway and his big targets (Parker, Williams, Gesicki) were making the catches in his time here. Fitz would have had less picks this year and Tua less sacks if there were better separation. Our fastest receivers are Grant and Perry, but they’re small.

Finally, this young Phins team was reading their headlines and might have taken this Broncos team a little lightly, but mostly, with inexperienced Phins traveling west up into that high altitude mountain air, Broncos called excellent game plan up there with all those crossing routes to run the gas out of the Phins, especially without Wilkins and Van Noy favoring injury. Didn’t hear Baker’s name once.

That’s the exception. Flores just did a baseball move to relieve a struggling pitcher and keep them from getting physically or emotionally defeated. Nothing wrong with that. Fitz gave the spark. Had more yards in two drives than Tua whole game. But Tua is fine. Confidence not damaged. This was the exception. Not the rule. They’ll rebound.

    Tim Jones

@Julius Monticalvo I noticed that too. He could have stepped up on the pocket and ran for 5 yards on plays where he stayed in the pocket and held the ball till he was sacked. Also I think it is a problem that he cant see over the line like Fitz can. So his receivers have got to run crisp routes into the gaps and Tua needs to hit them in those gaps and have faith that they are on their routes. Or he has got to roll out more often and throw on the run.

KAEP

While Tua didn’t play as well as he should’ve, a lot of the blame should go to our disastrous o-line, played horrible, and there were plenty of holding calls that should’ve gone against the Broncos that the refs didn’t call

    Adam Playz

@KAEP yea I agree we would have won if the officials had eyes

    Adam Playz

@Denver Broncos we better than you

    Christopher Jones

    @KAEP

Locally, former player and now broadcaster Kim Bokamper really emphasized what others were thinking. Was on “5th Quarter” post game show. But there’s been chat on this in league rooms all day, too.

    Adam Playz

@KAEP I bet you the officials were rooting for the broncos

    Adam Playz

    Yea

ORF

When Dolphins Win Tua be like “We, Team etc”. When Dolphins lose Tua be like ” I, Me etc”

    DNasty Channel

So what, Tua now has 2 games in which he threw less than 100 yards, the offense is predictable, O line played garbage, Wr couldn’t create separation, and Tua had a bad game being inaccurate in which that’s the number one thing he does.

    ORF

@DNasty Channel this team is in rebuilding phase. Calm your nutts

    Tom Hurst

Agreed. Ditto Fitz. You guys have two darn good men at QB. Just a casual fan (die-hard Gator), but so enjoying this year’s Dolphin’s team. Wish both those gentlemen the very best. Tua’s got a bright future and Fitz can hold his head high for his class and competitiveness.

    Humble Warrior

@DNasty Channel he isn’t inaccurate period but if ur receivers aren’t given u an area to place the ball in is it smart to force plays and possibly create turnovers? So stop slamming this kid like it’s all on him. Ppl riding his back because of what he said and how the defense played against him all game. It’s not all his fault period. Every member of that team should take a portion of the blame if they wanna be called a “team”

    Ray Cope

    I agree with that.

Yuen Taufetee

They need to open up the playbook for Tua and have him throw down field. It looks like they’re setting Tua up for failure. Let him play the same offense they called when Fitz was in smh….

    Nete G

They definitely setting him up I feel

    Brent R

I agree, the play calls are so conservative when tua is in, its frustrating.

    Ag

Are you not listening to tua here, fitz is trying to help, fitz has the same o line, same receivers. There are no conspiracies.

    Yuen Taufetee

I’m not a dolphin fan but I can see what they’re doing with Tua. You can’t run the same plays over and over. Open up the playbook and have him learn and grow from it.

    Tim Jones

@Ag but the receivers are running different routes with Fitz. More guys running at levels in the secondary. Tua gets hooks and short slants to the sidelines. Also if Tua gets sacked it is on receivers, online and Tua. He needs to throw it to someone or out of bounds. Sacks are avoidable.

Meghraj - Dolphins and Chargers Fandom India
