First off nobody is concerned about your feelings when it comes to people on social media or analysts saying this was a failure on a part of Tua! Someone’s life was juggled and with what everyone witnessed on Sunday and Thursday we get to make the assumption that the league, the organization and anyone close to Tua with the authority to permit him from re-entering the game failed him. And second, defending the people who sent him back out on to the field with a concussion makes this look like a conspiracy. And third, did you ever stop to think that the people who are using their eyes and brain to call out this medical misstep may have had a concussion or spinal injury at some point in their life and can tell the difference?
What’s Mike McDaniel supposed to do? Protect the player. He failed in this instance to protect Tua
This is what happens when you get a young coach. Only care about winning but never the players. I guarantee you, they are already looking for Tua replacement in the draft.
The @NFL investigated themselves and found no wrong-doing at all about anything: all NFL players are excellent drivers; kind and non-violent to their spouses, girlfriends and baby mamas; no one in the Dolphins organization is at fault for pretending that Tua didn’t have a concussion on Sunday; that Amazon Prime didn’t pay a billion dollars for a concussion to get in the way of internet ratings; and that Roger Goodell definitely deserves a raise because he is smart enough, good enough, and gosh darn it! people like him!

Besides, Goodell isn’t finished calculating his bonus money yet.
Regardless of what medical pro did what Tua himself knows the truth and ultimately he’s the one that will pay the price if he lied about the first problem
What you guys miss is that the doctors have flawed information that they are forced to make a decision with. If the player lies and tells them they are fine and the scans aren’t detecting anything because they are imperfect, then a concussed player will be cleared by the doctor. A doctor can only go based on the information presented and we have imperfect information.
The HC sounded like he’s picking his words carefully. Which tells me he is lying or covering up some aspects of this. Either way, Prayers Up for Tua and his family 🙏🏿!
I don’t think so. McD said if he saw any lingering effects from Sunday’s injury, he wouldn’t have played Tua. The protocol takes the coach and organization out of the final decision to medically clear the player, so it’s weird that people think the coach can just override a medical decision. We all have the benefit of hindsight in this situation, so it’s easy to say what “should have been” done. Point being, although there was some buzz after Tua came back during the Bills game, no one was outraged until Tua got hurt again on Thursday. If Tua were fine on Thursday, no one would have batted an eye. He could have still had lingering effects from Sunday’s injury, concussion or otherwise, and no one would have been the wiser.
I guess if there are two possible symptoms, in this case the wobble plus the shaking of the head and the hands near the head, then that should be enough even if the player passes the protocol and says it is something else.
Super sad for the sport we need to improve the handling of brain injuries and limit this as far as possible.

Rodney Harrison said he wouldn’t step back on the field if he was tua,knowing what he knows now at his age and from what he’s seen others experience and what he’s experienced too…he wouldn’t risk it.
I just know the human body isn’t designed to smash into others repeatedly.

Everyone who’s ever had any kind of stronger back pain knows that you stiff up if your backs sore. How this is connected to his back giving in is beyond me. Guy shakes his head, can barely keep is balance. I’m not saying I’m a doctor, or that the injury could have been detected by the professionals afterwards, I know nothing about that. All I’m saying is that if you look at the video footage this clearly had something to do with Tuas head and it boggles me how someone could argue against that after seeing the it.

Dolphins have been trying to find a way to sell themselves since the B flores hire….This is a case of too smart for your own good, McDaniel is screwed and none of us are fooled….This is a crazy end to a promising career. #RipMcDaniel
they are making one critial mistake, they arnt accounting for the fact that tua had just as much ability and personal responsibility to decide if he should go back in the game. after being cleared tua is one hundred percent accountable and responsible for the decision to go back in. once cleared no one but tua has any accountability or responsibility
