    What happens is that several people from the coaching staff already knew him and have an excellent relationship. And he’s known Maxx for a while and they’ve become friends. And now they can play on the same team. That’s why he agreed to come.

    I was a little upset about Yannick too but we got a good young CB for him and Jones is going to help the defense more than Yannick by forcing fumbles which Yannick wasn’t great at. I would rather have Jones and Rock Ya Sin than Jones and Yannick. We upgraded 2 positions rather than having a log jam at DE.

I’ve been really cool on this front office until today. It’s almost scary how quickly things are coming together. Yet, they haven’t played a down. Now is when the work starts. I hope everyone prepares like the rest of the league is gunning for them, because if they do win, the rest of the league will be.

PS: Depth is going to be the next question, of course after offensive line moves.

    I’ve been thinking the same LOL. Great comment unfortunately I think a lot of Raiders fans are too young to remember those days. I met Greg Townsend about 7 years ago he’s still as passionate about the Raiders as he was when he was playing .we talked about his rookie season and the black Sunday Super Bowl of 1984 he’s so proud that his sack record for rookies in the Superbowl still stands to this day

I’ve been a Raiders fan since 08, I’ve only seen bad or mediocre teams. This probably the best team I’ve seen put together and actually have real hope about our future as a team.
