I understand why we didn’t draft Dean. We already have an undersized LB in Jones who gets bullied during interior run defense. I think once you see and talk to this guy… you’re sold on him. Great steal! Dude is like the Tim Tebow of Linebackers. Growing up like he did creates a different kind of strong. It’s like the old man strong but at an early age. That’s the reason it’s called old man strength… bc they grew up like he did. Dude might be a bully.

Hearing he’s a farm boy and had super long commutes makes complete sense.. guys gonna be the hardest worker on the field and will go to great lengths to win all the time, his size/athletic ability etc is tremendous, his motor is non stop, loves to compete and will play any position asked of him WHILE being happy to do- hard to come by a young player like this. These are the things you cannot teach train or impose, he’ll learn everything else as he goes. That comparison in these comments to Luke Kuechly is spot on
