Trevor Siemian on Sean Payton, 3rd Down Efficiency | New Orleans Saints

I was rooting for the Saints before Coach Payton. Before Jim Mora. Back when folks wore a bag over their heads because the team was so bad.
Proud to be a Saints fan compared to those days, for sure.
The key is to temper expectations. Given the injuries, the salary cap issues, the Saints are doing pretty well. Certainly not perfect, plenty of room to improve, but they are not sucking at all so far.

Our receivers ain’t helping him at all tho. I saw this man throw a dime to kevin white in double coverage and he dropped it

So who can throw on the team. Taysom? Lol Did you watch his stretch of starts where he was averaging two turn overs a game? And that was with Mike Thomas playing! Taysom a “deep ball” is what hurt us the giants game. Lol Not saying Siemian is the qb of the future but the guy hasn’t lost us games. It’s the missed fgs, dropped passes, and penalties that have cost us more than anything. A shame people trying to put the losses on him smh maybe if the defense doesn’t blow coverage on long passing plays we would have closed out the giants and atl. 🥱 The record would be 7-2 instead of 5-4. They’ve lost as a team. Everyone is accountable and switching qbs doesn’t fix all the others players mistakes.

He has no legs and once he panicks just like he did in the final 2 minutes of the first half of the Tennessee game instead of throwing it away he took the sack which inevitably ran the time out. He’s getting to much praise because of his stats. He’s a paper quarterback not a game changer.

He’s never had the opportunity to go out there and lose like those guys have. And when he did have his shot he did reasonably well for someone with no starting experience. I see everyone’s reasoning but really and truly taysom would be the best option at qb to make a playoff push. There’s so many offensive schemes that can be made with him at quarterback.
