People forget how hard a rookie season can be. Peyton mannings was horrible and he didn’t have finger gun urban coaching him. If you act like that season never happened I think he’s on track this season to have a legit first year for a qb given his situation.
Glad to see Trevor perform the way we all knew he could perform. This year we probably won’t be in the playoffs but after last year, I feel like we already are In the playoffs because this team has turned around so much since the Meyer nightmare year. Entire offense has showed incredible progress. Defensive secondary is my concern because DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS.
We’ve made a massive improvement. Even though the wins have been hard to come by, we’ve been in every single game. We are no longer looked at as an easy W. All of our losses except for one has been by a single score and that one was against the Chiefs, one of the best teams in the league. We’re building something special.
@Double Event I’m not arguing that. You make a valid point but you and I and all of duval know what it feels like to have a one-off. For example 2017. As long as this team came be consistently better, and doug does his part along with all the other coaches, we may become a real contending team and only then can we be looked at as something other than an easy game to win. This is not that year but it may be the start of a better team we can all be happy to pay those prices for a seat and go see us win more often. I’m tired of paying astronomical prices for a jags ticket to watch them suck.
So happy we have TL on the team. I’ve never given up on him, he will lead us to glory now that we have good coaches helping him along. We just need to round out the roster and we’ll start making playoff runs starting in 2023. (bnot giving up on this season yet tho)

Lions fan here…. I’m excited to see this game its gonna be a dog fight & seeing Marv & Agnew will be great those are 2 guys I wish stayed in detroit but it’s a business.
He has been always the elite player since day one.
