In my opinion, if the NFL does open up the season. And some players opt out of the season and don’t play at all. They should not be getting paid a dime. Considering that there are average workers that were deemed essential and had to work and would be fired or not paid if they refused to work. Athletes are no exception.

    I get where you are coming from, but essential Workers and others are not working because they really want to but because they need to. People need Money to survive so they have to work. NFL Players however have that financial security to opt out. Others dont. Believe me, if Essential Workers could afford to opt out, they would. Imo NFL Players should not be punished if they value their health and the health of their families first

    wahtthefoc but my point exact, if the NFL players opt out because of fear of contracting COVID they shouldn’t get paid for not working. Me being an essential worker I have to work to make it but they don’t and if they don’t they shouldn’t be compensated
