Brian G. has to win executive of the year. Signed Rasul and Devondre and both made an immediate impact, Cobb has been solid for us these last couple of weeks, and not to mention the off season drama and still one of the best NFC teams if not the best NFL team right now.
@Bobby Turner What you fail to understand is Lazard is one of the best blockers we have on our team. He steps up every game.
He didnt want Cobb, and he makes signings bottom roster moves like this every year and they dont do much. Still important to do but luck and the coaches have more to do with it. Cody bojorquez was a huge addition though..
@jesusoftheapes he went out of his way to say he wouldn’t have made the Cobb move in a press conference implying he only did to make Rodgers happy. Everyone was denouncing the trade as poor value and he wanted to distance himself from it.
@Manuel Martinez everyone was saying cobb was old and washed up, but people forgot to account for the fact that he was playing for the Texans, an organization full of dysfunction and non elite talent

@Jeffery Zielke someplace. I sure would like to see him Stokes and Jaire be the lynch pins at CB for a long time. Amos and Savage also need to be here for a stretch with them but The Packers only have 3 CBs under contract going into next year and Douglas is never going to be cheaper than he is right now to sign for a few seasons. I want to see this one work out here but Rasuls agent knows that he is building a very strong case for big dollar free agent money with this seasons game film as well. I cannot wait to see how this one plays out.

@jesusoftheapes isn’t it amazing how he makes 2 crucial interceptions and the rest of the NFL will throw money at him in the offseason,
@James Westen It is not just about his picks. He has been rated as a top 3 CB in the league since he started playing fulltime for the Packers. The Ints are a nice cherry on top but his coverage has been exceptional and this is a CB starved league. If any CB can show he is a top tier talent he will get paid. I am assuming Jaire is going to cost this team(or the team he ends up with) the highest paid CB contract of all time. That is the cost of CB in the NFL in 2021.

Rasul always talks about the coaches. Happy for a humble and appreciative person
And I think one of the best parts about this current packers defense is it seems all of the players bring up the coach when being asked something. Really shows how much they look up him and how efficient he had been.

There’s something so great about a guy getting his shot. You know he was putting in the work being on a practice squad, he believed In himself. I’m so happy he got his shot on this team, and he’s done so great. Who knows what the off-season holds with contracts but I sincerely hope he gets a contract.
