@New York Bandwagon Being exasperated at opening up a very long comment isn’t belittling lol. Come on now. Idk, the fact that you’re STILL continuing this conversation? That you absolutely cannot put it down until you feel like you’ve beat me into the dirt? You never actually admitted to being wrong about Donald, or that you learned anything until now, in fact from the get go you said you were fine with him winning DPOTY but never once gave up your position of Watt being more complete. But you being absolutely adamant about Evans definitely being worse than he actually is is what turned me off from the conversation. There’s no reasoning with a brick wall, especially not one who clearly hasn’t been watching Evans play his entire career. Yes you have points, but I mean some of the things you’re saying are just not true dude. Their route trees are nearly identical. He’s not one dimensional. He’s WAY more versatile than you are describing. But there is NO point in even telling you these things if you can’t open yourself up to other opinions opposing your own as possibly correct (NOT factual statements like when I explained the pressures thing, opinions). Absolutely none. And now you’re just wasting my time in another way. I will mute this conversation if I have to. I’m done. @TheSportsGuru as i clarified a few comments ago, i told you “one dimensional” in terms of his ways of production. Whether or not thats yards or TDs. Again, something you didnt bother reading. Just so you wont have to come back here explaining why youre a better and more important person than me, im not gonna talk or argue about any players. Instead, ill tell you about everything else. I used the wrong “pressures stat” as you told me, and it mislead me to what i just told you. And yes, im perfectly fine with Donald winning the award. As i told you, hes one of three (Watt and Mack) players i cant complain winning. I still disagree on the meaning of complete, and for good reason. You told me that you can blame Donald for certain things that he cant do, which is correct. But thats why edge rusher is such a more important position. Its exactly why running backs dont win MVP as frequently. Cause they dont do as many things as a QB does. Is it their fault? No. But the same goes with edge rushers and IDL. And i have a lot of free time today, to the point where i can still argue if i want to. Whether or not you win or lose doesnt affect me. Ive learned many things, as i said. Thats what i gain. And I have seen Evans play on numerous occasions. Im telling you what the numbers and data shows you.
@New York Bandwagon hey thats a good solid arguement…but i just think that him having 10 INTS which hasn’t been done since…cromartie i think…is pretty impressive in itself
@Tahj Gonzalez agree its impressive for sure, but the award is called “DPOY”, not “Most Impressive Stat of the Year”. Interceptions to me are a measure of ball skills and tracking. Not denying its impressive, but a corner like Jaire Alexander was on the same level of Howard for the entire year. In fact, Jaire played shadow coverage on number one receivers more often i believe, and also had more games where he allowed his assignment to either no or negative yards. If Howard played 2019 Gilmore like coverage, give him DPOY without question.

@RedKingdom I’m forever trying to decide if the people who say those things genuinely don’t realize the difference between a play like this and whatever play they bring up, or if they are choosing not to acknowledge the difference. It’s likely a combination of both.

Kenny Moore one handed interception was magical.
