Love the title, Dallas is gonna have to make a choice after this year between Tony Pollard and zeke and it shouldn’t hard, Pollard is clearly their best back.

@Lucky King Yep. It’ll be interesting to see what, if anything they do with the RB position in the off-season. As I’ve said before though, “losing” Zeke won’t hurt as much production-wise as it would’ve a few years back.

Since 2019 Pollard has finished the year ahead of Zeke in yards per carry.
Yards per carry amongst RBs
2019: 3rd overall with 5.29 to Zeke 4.21
2020: abysmal year as a whole but Pollard was ahead with 4.32 to Zeke 4.01
2021: 2nd overall with 5.53 to Zeke 4.23
2022: 1st overall with 6.25 to Zeke 4.06

I’ve been saying this since the minute I saw Tony pollard run the ball with the cowboys but people would always get sensitive or be offensive. He is better than zeke and not by a small margin. He is drastically better than zeke. Any running back that can do everything that he can do and return kicks to the crib is a superior tailback.

@Dan The Man he has been picking up blitzes his whole career. He wouldn’t even get on the field if he couldn’t block anyone. How do I know this? Simple, I played tailback for 17 years. I have 3 Rushing titles in D.lll NCAA. I know what it takes to get on the field as a tailback. Zeke starts because of money. Period.

Zeke is good for short yardage and pass blocking. Polard is great for first and second downs and he’s more versatile on offense, not a great blocker. We are very lucky to have both ⭐️

I don’t care what anyone says but Pollard needs to be the Cowboys RB1… the offense is just way more explosive with him on the field… no shade to Zeke but you gotta give credit where credit is due 🤷🏾♂️ Pollard just has that “It Factor”… 90% of the Backs in the League would’ve ran right into the defender instead of squeezin past em like he did on that 2nd TD
And we still barely give him the ball! . Give the man the ball!! . He does so much with so little amount of carries. The cowboys are sitting on the best RB in the league.
This guy can be as good as Christian McCaffrey if consistently used the same way.
