@Louis Vuitton Nah, Derwin fell because most team’s didn’t (and still don’t) value safeties as top picks in the first round. Evan Neal plays an ultra-valuable position and one of the best at it in this particular draft. Therefore, he will picked before 17.
I’m already satisfied with all the FA pick ups, so it doesn’t matter who we draft it should be a upgrade no matter what. Draft bust or not I’ll tell u this tho Chargers going to the Super Bowl this season. ⚡️boltup⚡️

Who they pick will depend on who’s drafted before. I would love for a real solid player to drop to them. I don’t really care about the position.
Telesco harping on how he has a lot of players they like in pick 17 range leads me to believe they will trade back, even if it doesn’t net them much.

I can see Penning, Davis, or a WR. Any of them will help the Team. When defense is added it helps the offense. When offense is added it helps the defense. Beyond that they have to do a better job with picks in the latter rounds.

@Paul Jones And that’s another reason why I like George Karlaftis … he can play either standing up OR with his hand on the turf, and his quick change of direction & sideline-to-sideline speed as he hunts down the ballcarrier in the backfield is insane! 😳 THAT’S been one of our biggest issues on defense in recent years ….. players struggling to get to the QB/RB, whiffing on tackles left & right and then falling flat on their faces after grasping at air while trying to contain guys like Mahomes & RussWill as they scrambled for an easy 1st down… 😖 Oh, and watching him take on double/triple teams while being practically unblockable on a bullrush as he plowed his way through Iowa’s vaunted OL (which is no easy task) reminds me of Bosa’s earlier years back @ OSU!

You can tell how different he sounds now that Brand Staley is the coach, it does show he really listens to the coach.

And receive an additional 2nd rd pick OR an EARLY 3rd pick.
In the Early 2nd rd options can select players like

I think it really shows how comfortable Tom is with Staley.Trading back sure sounds like something that Tom Telesco is wanting to do to gain a second round pick.If Jordan Davis is not there or Williams at 17 the Lions could be the best way to get a second round pick and something I strongly support.Can’t wait for the draft.It’s going to be fun.
