@Anthony Davis I mean it was worth a shot.. especially the job he did with our defense in 2020. Head coaching just isn’t everyone’s prime position. Don’t blame a diversity hiring. That’s only if he’s a terrible all around coach. He’s a great dc

@Florida Hurricane Bowles needs to be fired. That was a glaring mistake. How do you not take one timeout with the greatest comeback QB?

I am backing Bucs 100% They still have a chance. It’s true gronk was a go to guy. I believe Tom can find go guys still. If anybody has a chance to turn things around even in this season, it’s Brady he has a solid team. Maybe we need to check our offensive playbook, shake it up just a bit.

Bowles actually said..” Oh at that point, overtime was inevitable ” He was content with playing for overtime! Horrible coach. And Byron Leftwich is 🗑. Brady should have just kept his family and retired.
@Game Time I disagree. This had nothing to do with Bowles. If anything Bowles hasn’t been pushing hard enough. He gives Tom too much leeway. Brady cost the Bucs this game and the other losses.

Bowles/Leftwich don’t realize how good they could be with play action- they completely ignore it and run every first down, turns into 2nd and 9, then no third down conversions,
They never pass to set up the run either- would help their conversion rate too

@socrates Yup. Brady eats defenses alive with play action but they call maybe 2 a game and never again.
I said it when we were struggling two and a half 3 weeks ago that it’s time for coaching change. I don’t know how he got this job but he’s clearly not up to par or able to figure out the game from a head coaching position. Maybe an assistant coach or a defensive coordinator or an offensive coordinator but he needs to go now.
Some coaches make good coordinators but but bad head coaches. Bowles seems to be one of them. McDaniels in Las Vegas is another example.
Coaching, or lack thereof, is killing the Bucs. Not taking that last timeout is only the tip of the iceberg. The offensive scheme and play calling is painfully predictable, and the defense is unreliable and porous. Losing to a three win team, with a backup level QB, was painful to watch. They are mediocre, at best.
It’s a good team with potential to be very good, but coaching makes the team Mediocre

True it start with the coaching but here’s the thing though, it’s Brady the goat, he sees everything, he understands the situation, he could of easily just called timeout himself 😆
The missing piece is Gronk…he did so much for this offense…He had elite catching ability, was great after the catch, a great blocker in the run and pass game, and he opened up the field for other receivers…All of the Bucs’ losses outside of Kansas City, went down to the wire which means an extra positive play or two they would’ve won, whether it be an extra touchdown, field goal, red zone success, or longer sustained drives, Gronk would have easily accounted for these things

Love Tom he is THE GOAT – but I watched this game and the Bucs are just not good enough and not as well coached as they were under Arians — as for Tom — there was a time he did not need two possessions to win a game in over time – he had two shots at it and he and the team failed — did nothing in the second half nor in over time – it’s over – will be interesting to see where Tom plays next season – he should hang it up, enjoy his kids and that $350 million dollar ten year contract he has with FOX Sports
This team is wildly inconsistent. I thought after that hot streak they went on to win the SB Brady’s first year, that he had stabilized things. But this year they have played with a frustrating lack of urgency on both sides of the ball.
Personally I believe they lost the game in those two possessions after taking the 17-10 lead. It seemed like after they failed to put the Browns away in the 3rd quarter, Bowles decided to put offense in cruise control and just play keep away. This was a classic game in which Brady and the Patriots would’ve won 34-17
All the Bucs needed was one more TD I. The 3rd or 4th qtr…. But nope. Stalled drives again and again

O line did well all game except in OT. This team always finds ways to choke in crucial games. It wasn’t even Brady’s fault here
Watching the Eagles game and it’s unbelievable how much more confident Sirianni is at coaching. He plays to win every single drive and has the balls to go for it on 4th and short nearly every time in opponent territory. Bowles coaches to not lose and it’s definitely part of the reason why the Bucs have been bad on offense. Players would run though a wall for Sirianni with that confidence in coaching, not sure the Bucs would do the same because they play scared football and constantly put themselves in unfavorable down and distances. Id rather Brady have a 3-1 TD-Int ratio every single game then for him to get 1-2 TD passes and no interceptions. Throw the ball on early downs and take chances. This team doesn’t have the guts to win a playoff game let alone a Super Bowl, and it starts with coaching

As a life long Bucs fan this was a tough loss to watch. 😔
Can’t win without every players pitching in Tom Brady wants to win but he can’t do it all! Playing of any kind is unpredictable you will never know until the last seconds. Tom Brady you did great! Don’t ever quit! You can do it!
Bucs need to start getting creative on offense. It seems like they run a lot of the same stuff and now opposing defenses are ready for it. Biggest examples are the quick screen passes to Godwin and the short dump off passes to running backs. Defenses are ready for that stuff. Leftwitch and Brady need to come up with new stuff down the stretch or they won’t beat the 49ers or eagles
