Tom Brady on Comeback Win Over the Colts | Press Conference – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE

The goat! But the game ball goes to Fournette guy was unstoppable

    M F

Lenny had the best statistical game by a RB I’ve ever watched from a TB RB. That was utterly insane. A lot of others to be acknowledged. Heal up Team

    Ernest Kovach

It was close between him and gronk.

    M

    Touchdown Lenny!

    Hokey

@Ernest Kovach no not at all. Yes gronk had a lot of receiving yards and a good game but Lenny had 131 total yards with 4 total tds it’s easily Lenny today

Tracy Tucker

The Colts are the ones who accused the Goat of deflating balls and switched them out during the half in an AFC Championship game. Tom proceeded to throw 4 td’s to move on to the bowl. The next year he was suspended 4 games because of the accusations and after his suspension was up, went on to win another Superbowl. In a way I guess I should thank them.

    Brady owned the Colts

    Trev Mac

@True Funk Soul As an engineer I can attest to the fact that a ball deflated by .0015 of a lb has little or no effect on one’s performance. In the New England area alone a football’s weight in January weather probably fluctuates in weight by .0030 of a lb due to the cold air alone.. My suggestion to the Colts is if they do play Brady ever again in cold weather they should insist the balls are deflated because once the balls were inflated to regulation wight Brady absolutely blew the Colts away in the 2nd half..

    Trev Mac

@Riley Martin Actually everything that person said was the truth – To an absolute undisputed certainty.. I’ll give you a tip though pal – one day you are going to make the mistake and call someone a liar in R/T and it’s going to be a Rainy Night In Lindbergh for you (because it will be the wrong person)

    bowlchamps37

@Trev Mac As a former college player, I can assure you that little changes have big impacts. But then again, this was a blowout, the footballs had nothing to do with it.

    P Pumpkin

@bowlchamps37 Who is Tracy? Balls were inflated inside locker room at 70 degrees and then taken outside in thirty degrees, what wasn’t initially revealed by the NFL that the Colts balls were deflated also, but this was in the Wells report. The Colts went into the game looking for inflated balls. Supposedly that the guy who intercepted the deflated ball went to his coach and said “this ball was soft” – but I read he denied that he ever did that. (and by the way its illegal for a team to measure air pressure during the game and everytime you stick a gauge in the ball don’t you let a little air out?). I really suspect that air was let out of the ball that was intercepted by the muckraking Colts sideline because there was one ball with a lot less air than the others. If the ball was so soft in the game wouldn’t one of the referees who handled it before each play have noticed? The whole thing was a set up and a clumbsy one at best.

Ken Snedegar

Congratulations to the best quarterback ever in football great win and second-half team effort was really great

    Terry Leach

Tom Brady is the goat okay don’t even say anything else then that so hope on a different bandwagon

Sean Pen

Ya wasn’t TBs best game. But his lack of TDs is only because of play calling. When they got close they ran it instead of passing it. He very easily could’ve thrown 3-4 TDs. Good team win

    Mike Tampa Bay

@tedfio1tedfio1 they all need to get on the same page but the ball evans ran by that hit his hand 😆. But He was open for 2 TDs last week but Brady dumped it to Lenny

    tedfio1tedfio1

@Mike Tampa Bay True, they better get on the same page on both sides of the ball, Offense & Defense. If we look at last season, Brady got Bruce Arians to back down just enough from “No Risk it No Biscuit” to Bradyiscut lol… Brady knows the combination of Short, Medium, and Deep passes works a lot better than just throwing bombs come playoff time. They are also still playing sloppy with penalties etc…

    Greenish Arrow

    @david selawsky

It’s the defense coverage taking away what the Bucs want to really do and go deep early and often. Washington, Giants and Indy have neutralized that quite well which is why there’s been so much open space underneath for Tom to get. It’s weird because Evans and Godwin are very good at getting open but they need AB back to really open up those long pass plays deep. You notice how Mike Evans didn’t get one look deep yesterday…coverage or his back issue

And the int…Scotty Miller ran into his defender which slowed him down. Maybe if he doesn’t then he beats him and gets a catch idk

    david selawsky

@Greenish Arrow def . See the issue. Cant Mike and Chris run shortened routes!? Its crazy that Lenny had more catches than both combined. 😳 AB taking his sweet time too.

    No Name

@Mike Tampa Bay Lot of cover 2 with no AB and Miller out they had no one to take the top off the defense. Idk why they aren’t using the TE more. But that would definitely help. Once AB comes back healthy it’s over for secondaries.

TheOmengod

Brady struggled early but he always comes back and puts the team in a winning situation. They need to forget about the script early in games.

    True Funk Soul

Is that what happened? Thanks I missed the game. Excellent advice re how Tampa can improve by forgetting about the script, have you mentioned it to Arians?

    Jean-michel Delvaux

    Rooster..

    MovieIdiot

I have followed Brady for so so many years. It happens sometimes that they start slow. Nothing crazy about that, it happens to everybody. What Brady does better than anyone else is that given enough time he will figure it out and dissect the defense and turn the game around.

    Swagu34

I 100% agree. We almost always start the game with a couple of punts. Forget the scripted plays, and just let Tom do what he wants. Things will be way better

    BeeSeeBee

The script is intended to give the offense a scorecard of how the defense adjusts and reacts to the play sets. From that script aka scorecard, they adjust the rest of the game plan. So essentially, the script is what leads to the late improvements. Fyi

Hard fought game! Go Bucs!!

1’ Day

“Not the past not the future but TODAY” that’s why toms the goat 🐐

    True Funk Soul

Yep the only player who understands the difference between the past, present and future: Tom Brady, makes him the greatest. I agree that’s definitely why he’s the greatest of all time. No other players have ever understood this distinction.

    Rob

Yep, same with Michael Jordan, Roger Federer etc.The ability to be present, fully engaged in the moment at all times.

Carlos Pouzada

That was a big W on the road in a tough place against a pretty good team

ted Davis

Big ups to Mike Edwards. He forced the first turnover. And he saved a touchdown by making the tackle on the heart-stopping late kick return.

    Pete

Been hearing “Edwards” alot this year

Xiangwei Chen

Teams are playing Bucs trying to take away the deep balls, so you have to run the ball. Fournette had a huge game, which really means a lot to the Bucs offense. Being able to the run the ball against one of the best run defense is critical down the road.

    DarkDante

Opposing teams are aware of the Bucs’s receiving core so it makes sense for them to try to take away the deep balls. Because if they didn’t, the Bucs would’ve had a field day.

M. Denz

Leaned on our front 7, line and running backs. Everyone else seemingly struggled a bit. But I consider this evolution. Winning using different play styles

OnesPeed 4 EvEr

I’m a Jags fan but before Jacksonville got a team I was and still am a Bucs and Dolphins fan
Lets get another ring

Zone Rouge

Brady you are still the MAN. #1 QB OF ALL TIME. (BRADY IS THE NFL)

Eddie Manea

38 points. The offense doesn’t “struggle”. They’re human. Can’t score on every drive but in the red zone they are lethal.

raymond menendez

The fact that this old man can stand there and seems like he can play another 4 quarterbacks is amazing

Mark Hershberger

This the definition of a true leader always takes the time to include everyone in his praise, has to be amazing being his teamate.🔥
