I think we saw the beginning of the road to the Superbowl. Defense was solid and Brady had total control of the game. AB will be back. Gronk looked good secondary improving.

Lovely to see the team win, but there were some terrifying moments. I was surprised to see Tom looking a little unsure a few times early on and held on to the ball forever a few times. Maybe that came from over thinking because of dropping two in a row or maybe it was being married to the idea of throwing to a specific individual. Thankfully, Tom always looks to improve so I’m sure that’s something he’ll address,
Maybe no one was open. He hates INTs. He had plenty of time in the pocket too.
@Ginger Hunter One of Tom’s greatest strengths has always been his ability to get rid of the ball quick. This O-line is incredible. Is Tom better served by having a lifetime to throw it? On the surface we would say obviously yes. Of course having more time is better, but maybe having so much time he was suffering from a little paralysis by analysis.
There’s no way for any of us to know exactly what he saw because they so rarely give us that camera angle. So we don’t know if nobody was open . We don’t know if he missed that a guy was open. We don’t know if he was overthinking when he should have already thrown it.
The one thing we do know is that Tom is the UNDISPUTED GOAT. He is always looking to improve so he will study the film and look to see what he could have done better.
@Stephanie Zimbalist I understand what you’re saying. you said that he looked a little unsure. I was just giving my opinion that maybe no one was open (which means I did not scan the field even in replay to know this for sure just as we don’t know what he was thinking).
@Ginger Hunter I hear you. I was just adding all the variables. I wish we would get that camera angle more than we do. I would love to watch a broadcast that had the QBs POVs. I think it would help people fans to be more understanding. of course it would probably make some fans more vicious.

Was great to see Gronk back out there and looking 100%. He’s such a great blocker and I don’t think that gets mentioned enough. He’s basically another lineman on his blocking plays, and he’s nearly impossible to defend on pass plays. The whole offense just looks better when he’s out there.

Gronk and AB are very crucial for Bucs to win, especially when facing good pesty defense. Godwin also performs reasonably well against good defense.
