Tood Bowls needs to be fire and bring back BA.
TB can’t make adjustments in the games
TB has no identity for the team
Are we a Defensive team or offensive?
TB is soft in preparation and practice
TB is not an HC material
Next year, the Bucs will be picking first in the Draft…..

    BA sucks too

Awful year under this coach. All summed up in a nutshell.

Bill Kampouris

Everyone on the O line has to go, except Ryan Jensen and Tristan Wirfs.

The problem with injuries is well established. They did 0 to help Brady. The line was short players due to retirement so they got receivers and then Jensen went to injury again they got 0 line help they instead got wr and Def. For the practice squad. This didn’t help Brady nor the team. The comment about doing the same thing over and over is spot on. Clearly insanity has taken over this team. If you can’t bolster the offensive line which is where the problem lies then the plays they called won’t work. The Hanes were over before they began. Be it insanity of the GM Coach Coordinators it all came to not indwrstanding the team you had. Lamar would have been better suited for this offensive line. Why? Because he is a running qb you don’t need pocket protection. Given that it would have been better to trade Brady to Baltimore you would have had a far better record. And you would have made it further into the playoffs. This is where the head coach is needed. He needed to tell the GM hey we aren’t going to be able to play Brady. Because our offensive line can’t hold for a pocket qb. End of story and end of season. Now if that was related to the GM then the GM must go. If the GM couldn’t see it for himself by mid season. The GM needs to go as well. Too many eyes could see the issue and no one addressed that issue that was glaring like a 200,000,000 candle neon sign in the middle of the night on the bedroom window with no shades. So bright they just became blinded by it.

Raansu

For the love of God fire him… He was a horrible head coach in NY and he took a loaded team here with the Bucs and made them regress. Even the defense got worse. The players have no energy under him. They constantly look deflated and lack trust in the coaching staff.

    Hill Jones

@Urek Mazino why would they fire him with a paper thin line or mike can’t catch did coach though the ball in the dirt also

    Alex

@Hill Jones Brady has a career year last year until toilet Bowles took over

    aclarkedesign

How many Jets head coaches have been successful in the last 20 years or so? The team wasn’t as “loaded” as you think. Lost almost half the offense, 2 veteran pass rushers. Most games are won and lost in the trenches. QB, RB and WR get all the fame but if you are lacking in the thick of things, its ain’t going to go well. The defense had issues when they couldn’t rush the passer and lack of execution and the offense not being able to do more than a 3 and out. You saw Dak pretty much walk into the endzone on monday right? Where was the containment player who’s job it is to contain that side? Thats a coaching issue?

    Raansu

@aclarkedesign Yes that was 100% a coaching issue.

    aclarkedesign

    @Raansu How?

jbonez74

Team will look completely different next season. TB12 will be gone and some fa as well. Need a rebuild.

Steve Smith

This season was a disaster on so many levels and I am glad it’s over. Now I wait to see and hear what Tom decides to do. Bowles needs to admit it was bad.

Stephano97

Surprised at how bad we were without BA. Bowles and Leftwich got a lot of credit for SB run.
This year was just a horribly lead slow death.
Horrible year

    aclarkedesign

Maybe a little less blame on coaches and more on the players who didn’t execute and play well.

    Alex

@Josh Taylor Bowles and leftwich have a combined zero playoff wins and career failures withiut brady try again not was all Arians and Brady

    Josh Taylor

@Alex there is no “try again”. Believe what you want. But I will say the sample size of playoff games without Brady for both men (Bowles as hc Left as oc) is quite small.

    Stephano97

@aclarkedesign fair point because Brady was off this year. But u don’t drop so dramatically without the coaches taking responsibility.
It was a horrible year, and coach Bowles’ pressers were like watching grass grow.

    aclarkedesign

@Stephano97 Brady was WAY OFF on top of losing 3 starting veteran OL players. You also lost 2 veteran pass rushers. People are saying “coaching” because it an easy out. If you watch the games players are not doing their jobs especially on defense. Lack of pass rush, players not being where they needed to be. Offense was a combination of lost players, injuries, very poor play and play calling. Arians offense is big plays. Lots of Mike Evans which requires time in the pocket which Brady didn’t have. Also Brady and Evans seemed to not be on the same page when he did. Then they couldn’t run ball which is mostly OL. So now you are looking at quick passes. His biggest target Gronk is not there. Godwin not 100% most of the year. No AB. They lost half their offense. Leftwich went from running one of the top offenses in the league since 2019 to one of the worst. He will probably take the bullet for team when there was clearly more issues than just play-calling. And he’ll get another OC position somewhere else and be successful. You better not get too hopefully about the next couple of years because its not going to get better. Over the cap, going to lose players. Bowles job has an uphill climb.

Ssfarryder85

From a defensive standpoint this team couldn’t hold the edge couldn’t rush the passer without a heavy blitz that rarely got thru couldn’t play man nor zone coverage couldn’t disguise the shell couldn’t stop bootlegs couldn’t press couldn’t play off coverage etc… from an offensive standpoint this team couldn’t set the edge couldn’t run nor pass block couldn’t get separation couldn’t scheme no one open couldn’t target weaker DBs couldn’t run nor pass the ball efficiently couldn’t score points when in the red zone basically what I’m saying is coaching wasn’t very good at any phase

Kooduh

cowboys offense had easy-mode, the defense looked completely unprepared

Josh Taylor

“At the end of the day we will evaluate things going forward”.
Can we get some reporters that will stop letting him get away with this cliche coach speak? Press him a little. This season is not acceptable and he needs to feel the heat from all sides.

Michael Allison

Before we as a team can begin thinking about beating contending teams, we must first create a plan to beat the teams we are expected to beat. And we lost to teams we were suppose to beat this season. Time to take some notes this summer and get ready to come back to work as a team that will display better technique and toughness. And if you ask me what are the two positions going into the off-season on offense and defense that need to be addressed, it has to be OL & CB. GO BUCS

    TheRedRooster

This guy makes backup QBs look like Peyton Manning.

These coaches are overrated and are never given the blame for the teams limits and inefficiencies. Bowles and Leftwich should take the lion’s share of responsibility for the teams disarray and lack of creativity. Brady and the injuries are constantly blamed. These are not great coaches. Bring back BA.

Sarosh

Bring Sean Payton as the head coach and draft some good OLine options. Brady will stay and we win the superbowl

soupkitchen bavaria

Send the headcoach home. Look for a more emotional hc who identifies himself with the team. The team wasn’t that bad, but bad prepared. This was a very bad year for the bucs and the fans. Less could prove their accuracy. GM, listen to the fans. Kick out Bowles.

Brandon Stephens

What a sad day yesterday was. Never saw a blowout loss like that coming. Idk what happened. We played absolutely horrible and Dallas played an almost perfect game. They came to take care of business and we didn’t for some reason. Just dominated on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. That’s our biggest issue imo. We have the skill players, but don’t have the strength on o line and d line this year. We really missed suh, jpp, and Barrett the second half of the year. Can’t believe it’s another 9 months until we see the boys back on the field again 😞. Hopefully we somehow miraculously pickup s bunch of solid players in draft and free agency and a qb if Brady inevitably leaves.

    Nick Frazzetto

As soon as Tom threw that INT the game was over, what the heck was he thinking!

    Always Forward

    Good take

    Miles Gentry

With Leftwich fired, this is a good start 👍

    Mydixiewrekt

Godwin isn’t the same WR anymore and may never be again and Evans is just about on his last leg so I’m not sure we have as much talent at skill positions as you think. RBs are mediocre at best and TEs are just not experienced enough to make an impact sans Brate. O-line needs help badly and the defense is missing skill at every level. A lot of work to do in the offseason and I’m not sure Bowles is fit for the task at hand

David Austin

50% Brady’s fault for retiring and unretiring causing Gronk and Marpet to retire… cappa, suh and JPP to leave. 50% Bowles and leftwich for not coming up with better plays and schemes being very 1-dimensional in play calling and the fact we didn’t really address the oline when Jensen went down. I saw Bowles true colors when he did what he did defensively in that divisional game against the Rams. Horrible and if we decide to move forward they have to be left behind. Cause it’s gonna be the same thing without Brady which is worse!!!! If Brady don’t come back… DRAFT another QB and have TRASK compete against that and see who wins it.

    David Austin

I think we gotta find somebody better than Donovan smith on the line we need to DRAFT QB, O-Line, a RB and DBs

Sam S

Well., be happy that year 1 Arians and Brady beat all the doubters when they won the second Super Bowl for this team. Year 2 was an attempt to repeat, and they came close, just losing to the Rams. This year the wheels fell off when they ran out of salary cap space to resign their offensive line, and it was so bad they ranked last in the running attack and Brady had difficulty having time to throw. Not to mention he fell off some this year as well as even he admitted that interception the first half, he was trying to throw it away and threw it to a Cowboy instead. This team now has to rebuild – plain and simple. Bowles is getting another year but when they fail without a quarterback to play, he will be fired, and we will see another coaching staff in 2024. Count on it.

Gabe G

Dallas put out an APB for missing Tampa DBs. The wide receivers were so wide open and Bowles did nothing to fix the wide space in middle of the field that Dallas was feasting.
