Why? It’s a deep draft for receivers, if Olave doesn’t fall to 22, I can see Packers taking a dl, edge, or ol, in first round. That’s ok!
I think it has shown Rodgers can make average receivers great..
Their will be plenty in the 2nd in fact theirs some guys projected to go in the second that I like as much or more than the first

Don’t trade up unless you get a potential starter at Safety like Cine/ Hill or a DT to pair with Kenny 🙏. Check the receiver box in Rd 2-3 in that case. 😉

@Ian Hughes this draft has no great ones. It’s all solid 2s and 3s. Past drafts had great ones when we chose not to address the position. But time will tell.

@Ian Hughes i only think olave would be there at that point and i don’t think he’s a tier 1 guy (jameson, garrett, drake, and pickens are tho but two of these guys are coming off acl injuries)
I say Packers don’t draft a wr in the first round, unless Olave falls to 22. Otherwise I can see Packers taking a DL, or Edge, and OL with first round picks. Can also see Packers trading down for solid picks in the 2nd and 3rd. I don’t see them reaching in the first round for a WR.
Awful take. We draft 2nd 3rd and 4th rounders for OL and feast with those guys. We will draft a WR in the first but I would not be surprised we only leave with 1 WR in the first 2 rounds

There is only one player worth moving up to get in this draft, and that’s Garrett Wilson. The Packers just lost three receivers, including the best one in the NFL. They need someone elite this year, and Wilson is the only really elite guy who can contribute right away in this offense. Pack has huge draft capital, plus a first round quarterback who’s just warming the bench. Call Carolina and do a deal. Give them Jordan Love and a pick or two, get that number six pick and draft Garrett Wilson. Then win the Super Bowl.
Pickens has the highest ceiling cause I hate Georgia
I love your enthusiasm man but drafting that guy it’s not going to make a difference with us going to the super bowl we’ll probably make it to the championship game but we’re going to choke and fold under pressure like we do every year I have been watching this team for 25 years and now that the best wide receiver in the NFL is going to go catch a ball from a half WIC quarterback and get his yards per season cut in half drafting a rookie is not going to improve our chances in me
imo, jameson is that guy. massive boom and bust potent with that electric speed. honestly would only need to move to like 13 or 14 to get him

Look I hate to say it, but F*** depth! Let’s go out and get some studs at wideout and try and make our hall of fame, one of the best to ever do it, quarterbacks happy and also and more importantly, BETTER! It’s time to finally quit this nonsense of top talent wideouts being possible in later rounds. Imagine what you could develop with a guy who has top talent!

If Gute trades up, or trades down, I just hope he doesn’t fake himself out. Trading is ridiculous when there’s a needed prospect staring you in the face. And the Packers has so many needs to fill, I wouldn’t want to trade away any pick, except maybe, it’s to move down to the very early 2nd RD, and pick up a 3rd, or 4th RD pick. I won’t hold my breath, because Gute has disappointed me with so many picks. And I believe, it’s why we still haven’t won a Super Bowl in 11 yrs.
