I agree. Newsome makes a ton of sense, but I’m perfectly fine with taking ASJr there. I’m also comfortable with bolstering the edge group if Newsome isnt there (Tryon, Philips, Rousseau) and then trying to move up in the 2nd to land ASJr, Stokes, Campbell, Melifonwu. You could even flip the scenario, but I feel like in round 1 and 2, the Browns should come away with Edge and Corner to add depth and potential long term options. WR and DT can be added in 3rd and 4th. Along with offensive lineman options too.

I dont see M Wilson making the team this year if the draft a LB. Wilson missed and over ran tackles and plays last year

I like the idea of taking a WR with 26 (Rondale Moore, Elijah Moore, Rashod Bateman, Terrace Marshall) and then trading up in the second round to draft a CB, someone like Samuel, Stokes, Robinson or Joseph.
Am I the only one who believes that “moving back” for the Browns is senseless? With the Browns picking at 26, that’s virtually the second round to me!
With all the players that stayed in college and thus pushing more talent into next years draft
I’d trade down and stack them up for the next two drafts
This years draft talent pool is subpar I’d punt and try it again next drive
I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if the Browns end up making some moves Friday/Saturday that net us at least an extra 3rd next year due to the depth of that draft.
Keep in mind they have players to trade that can turn into picks next year. Njoku for 1 and Odell I imagine if he is not clicking with Baker. Prob for a pair of 3s. If they draft OG in 3rd there could be movement with Bitonio as well he gets a lot of $$$. Great player but we have other great players now. But yea you are right especially if a qb is sitting there for a team to draft in the 3rd or 4th round could get a lot of picks for next year
